Looks like the setting returns to Vice City with a "Bonnie and Clyde" storyline. Coming in 2025.
are there actually objectives in these games? or is it simply bodycount...
There’s a story with story-based missions, but you can play it any way you want. You can play it alone, play it online with friends or strangers. Basically, the game can be whatever the player wants it to be.
I tried playing Grand Theft Auto 4. It was way TOO realistic. I kept accidentally running pedestrians down and had to quit the game out of guilt. Friends tried telling me that that was the point of a Grand Theft Auto game, that you could do things in game that you couldn’t do in real life.
We’ve come a long way since Space Invaders...
I always got upset with my son when he was purposely killing civilians in Grand Theft Auto 2.
I believe people can be desensitized to killing and violence by playing these games. Especially children. Think of those two teens who were purposely and fatally running bicyclists down and laughing about it. The young kid next door brought his game over to show us how he could rob, rape and kill hookers in his game. He thought it was cool. Worst of all, his parents bought it for him. We told him he couldn’t bring it to our house anymore.
Judging by the trailer it looks the entire city has been completely taken over by depravity. The worst of Sodom and Gomorrah all in one place. GTA 5 was good but this thing looks like dystopian nightmare.
so there’s no end game then... OK thx
i just saw it as Death Race 2000 but in a game where it’s all about the bodycount
By design. The previous game, GTAV, is still going strong 10 years after its first release thanks to constant online updates and homemade mods from players. It’s a money-making machine.
They’ll probably all wear red MAGA hats.
It does and I’m certainly not defending it. These games *can* be entertaining, but they can also be dangerous to an unstable mind.
a stress reliever of mine for 20 years!! In V i was able to get up to 15 trucks parked on the RR tracks south of the main shipping terminal. when the train hit, it was truly a sight to behold!! and gave me an instant 4 Stars on the wanted poster!! good times to be had in these games!! Looking forard to getting VI !!

LOL, that's what I like too. It's not all killing (although you'd have to try hard to avoid killing in these games). The fun a player can have is limited only by their imagination.
Yea i was thinking the same.
That “Bonnie’s” too ugly to run in my gang.
