There’s a story with story-based missions, but you can play it any way you want. You can play it alone, play it online with friends or strangers. Basically, the game can be whatever the player wants it to be.

I tried playing Grand Theft Auto 4. It was way TOO realistic. I kept accidentally running pedestrians down and had to quit the game out of guilt. Friends tried telling me that that was the point of a Grand Theft Auto game, that you could do things in game that you couldn’t do in real life.
