Two of these passed over our house a few min ago. Very slowly and the motor sound was very loud. Obviously they were big.
I live near the Arizona National Guard Papago Park Military Reservation and so I'm sure it came from there. We do get some interesting craft from there overhead at times.
I'm just curious. What is it carrying? It looks like a bomb but I am guessing that it isn't. ?
You can cook them longer so more water evaporates or add some corn starch.
Apache. Weapons rails and engine cowlings along with the “pimple” on the nose are the giveaways. You live in NC?
Apache helicopter? Isn’t that derogatory to Indians? Maybe rename them George Floyd helicopters...You know, to show how much we care.
One of those guys flew over my house years ago. Low and slow. I didn’t know what it was, just saw a spotlinght from far away getting closer and closer... I thought it was going to crash into my house and I ran into the yard - in my underwear. The spotlight shined on me, and so I sheepishly waved at it.
I called the nearby military base and asked them if they were flying something over my house.
They told me: “We can’t talk about that.”
that is a picture of a helicopter... a black one.
Wow! What a great shot!
I guess could be training, other things, yes.
Get your .308 out and shoot at it....let us know what happens...
That is a standard 4-blader.
What, an overconsuming helicopter that neglects maintenance and eventually crashes and blames gravity.
Blue Thunder
Just mash about ⅓ of them, with a large spoon. Continue to cook the water/liquid down, to your desired consistency. That should do it.
This is pretty funny!
I hope they didn’t photograph you looking like a deer in the headlights and it’s sitting on the wall in their lunchroom or something...
We see Apaches ocassionally passing over here in south central TN. Their course seemingly as though traveling between forts Campbell and Rucker.
Near the when they are boiling I add cold water and boil them again, several times.
When I lived in S.CA, it was like having a heliport on the roof...Endless sound of helicopters...
Apache. Tail rotor is on the left side of the helicopter. Black Hawk is on the right.
What did you do now?
This has happened a few times here. The aircraft (sounds like a helicopter) goes very slowly and gets so close to the house that it’s A) loud as eff and B) kinda scary. It will seem to hover.
My guess is that they are checking activity in houses - like if there are a lot of people in the house - with infrared or some other type of imaging.
