Two of these passed over our house a few min ago. Very slowly and the motor sound was very loud. Obviously they were big.
I live near the Arizona National Guard Papago Park Military Reservation and so I'm sure it came from there. We do get some interesting craft from there overhead at times.
I'm just curious. What is it carrying? It looks like a bomb but I am guessing that it isn't. ?
First guess is an Apache.
Black Hawk
Yeah, looks like a UH-60 Blackhawk.
Clickbait without a doubt.
BINGO. Not really too hard to identify with the weapons pods, engine pods, and general shape, even from behind.
Apache. Blackhawk is much bigger.
Lol. No. It’s not clickbait. That is my own photo and I uploaded it to IMBB because I did not know how to get it on here.
That looks like an Apache attack helicopter.
Make yourself usefull, my wife went out doing charity stuff and I’m in charge of the beans. How do you thinken them up?
I looked up both Apache and Blackhawk and it does look more like an Apache which is an attack helicopter. Wow. I wonder where that is going? How involved are we in that war ‘over there’?
What - make them smarter???

Well, not sure. We still do training flights, pilots still need practice, and sometimes they fly to different places for non-war reasons.

Army “Apache” with a reserve fuel tank on the right side.

Lol. I am useful. I am actually working but took a few min off for this.
I work next to my computer. I’m an artist, oil painter. I have a show in January in Phoenix. Working on the last painting for it. I heard the helicopters overhead, took a pic wondered what it was.
If its National Guard they definitely could be on a training flight.
I believe there is an Air Guard unit on your side of town that flies those.
