It also includes sightings among cultures and belief systems that many now consider ‘pagan’.
The thing about ancient artistic depictions is that in those days, practically ALL art was given over to religious themes. It was one of the ways that mostly illiterate people were instructed, and probably not just about religious topics but many other things as well.

I’ve wondered if people like this are hired to give the whole inquiry a bad name. But on the other hand, maybe the apparent craziness engendered in some people is somehow itself an aspect of the phenomena.
The military industrial complex has in all likely hood committed crimes against humanity with their UFO related behavior. If the truth is revealed their duplicity would be revealed at some point. The truth might also show that vast fortunes were made by companies and individuals at the expense of humanity and the American tax payer. The MIC has a great deal to lose by having the truth come out in this situation and thus they call in their favors from the Republican representatives they bought and paid for to further block their damning crimes.
Just look at how conservatives on FR will believe every word uttered by US intelligence and DOD agencies and yet in the next breath damn the entire US government for its lies and criminal behavior. Their behavior is beyond weird.

Wow you figured it out. The US figured out how to accelerate from a standing start to the speed of sound in less than a second. And also how to turn 90 degrees at that speed. All without leaving a sonic boom or exhaust. And for 80 years they have not built an invincible air force and other super weapons. What genius.

Me too. When I was young I saw some objects that made me recoil. Made a big lifelong impression on me to the point where I wanted a better look at what's out there. Below is my small scope in my little home built optical observatory. Over several decades I've seen probably 20 objects during 4 separate events which I could not explain what the hell they were. Two events with the unaided eye and two using optics. Then again, maybe like the other poster said, "We're all just batshit crazy". ☺
