First thing that comes to mind is the green โ68 Mustang. Iโve had three Mustangs so far. Second thought, Steve McQueen.was a really cool guy, on screen in Wanted Dead or Alive, offscreen rearing cArs. Has an interesting life story.

Next time you watch this movie count the number of times the green (I think) VW bug appears and the weather changes.

There is one Mustang jump, going downhill, where they bottomed so hard that the oil pan was ripped open. You can watch it happen.
It's the one where the shot was looking up hill, and the Charger was turning left at the bottom of the scene.

There’s a moment where the Charger loses it and runs into the cameraman filming from his point of view. The screen flashes rapidly and cuts out. Next is McQueen stopping and doing a 25ft burnout with his axels jumping.

I love the sound of a V8. As good as the 390 sounded that 440 wedge had a sound all it’s own. Best part of the movie.
Tom Cruise’s first Jack Reacher with the Chevelle 454 was really close.

(Re)watched it last year - lots of action but the “dialogue” left something to be desired, (like words).

True, McQueen's driving scenes were great; but I prefer the scene when he and Jacqueline Bisset are riding down the highway in a Porche convertible.
