The song’s title, “Charbu Darbu,” comes from Syrian Arabic and means literally “swords and strikes.” In Hebrew slang, it is a reference to raining hell on one’s opponent — which is what the rappers promise the IDF will do to Hamas.
With a minimalist beat produced by Stilla (Soroker) and quick cuts of the rappers in various urban and desert landscapes, the two-and-a-half-minute video is in many ways typical of Israeli hip-hop.
Lyrically, though, the piece encapsulates a feeling of righteous fury that has been prevalent in Israel since the October 7 atrocities.

“War. What is a good for? Oy, don’t get me started.”
Killing bad guys who start wars, just for one.
Stopping them from making more wars.
Technological advancements that come about in the course of winning the war.
Defeating evil ideologies, such as Nazism, Communism, Islamic Jihad and naked territorial ambition.
Magnanimous victors can develop entirely new and sometimes better relationships with their erstwhile foes, such as the Japanese and the Germans, the North and the South, or not, such as the sick relationship that existed between the British the the Boers for many decades, or the North and the South.
Yup. War has 1001 uses, most of them very good. So if you’re a Hatfield or a McCoy, don’t be shy. Feud to your hearts’ content.
It beats watching wars on TV.
Hahahahah, very, very well done!
This was a favorite in my youth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh-TKJTCtnw
“sons of Amalek”? Then, Bibi knows the only solution to the Gaza problem. Deuteronomy 25:17-19
I prefer the classics.
Fortunate son and run through the jungle.
