Re: 166 - Except that’s speculation, at best.

Even the researcher who provided the collage of photos can’t make a definitive claim.

What’s sad and intellectually lazy is the photos are apparently not the originals. They have been cropped. So it’s unknown how they compare to the originals.

Oh, another whiner who thinks they need to stick their nose into other peoples’ conversations, and lecture someone on their comments. Maybe you’re also one of those people who can only complain about the things Trump didn’t do during his four years of Hell, instead of giving him credit for getting good things done while being under constant bombardment from his political enemies. And after having the 2020 election stolen from him, and a coup that overthrew him, and everything he put in place, all you can do is whine about Hillary, and the JFK documents? I worked for 25 years for an agency, that the only time you heard from them was if you’d done something wrong. You never heard from them when you did something right. You’re that agency. So go whine like a little kid, about the things Trump didn’t give you instant gratification on.

I'm not discussing CIA involvement in the assassination. I'm discussing the specific allegations about George H.W. Bush.

So I went to this link that you provided:

https://aarclibrary.org/notices/Affidavit_of_George_William_Bush_880921.pdf

That affidavit was by someone named GEORGE WILLIAM BUSH (as we can tell from the link itself)

Kitty Kelly, who was preparing Bush's biography, asked Bush where he was at the time of the JFK assassination, and Bush said he "couldn't recall."

However, one hour and 15 minutes after the assassination (while on duty as a CIA watch officer), Bush called the FBI office in Houston and relayed information that James Parrot has been talking of killing the president in Houston. According to the FBI memo, prepared by SA Graham Kitchell, Bush identified himself as "President of Zapada Off-Shore Drilling Company, Houston, Texas" and the FBI took the call from Tyler, Texas. According to the memo, Bush also stated that he "was proceeding to Dallas, Texas, would remain in the Sheraton-Dallas Hotel, and return to his residence on 11-23-63."

I did a quick search. I can't verify that Kelly's book has any such a quote, which is apparently fabricated. I found this review of the Kelly's book.

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2004/09/how-to-read-kitty-kelley.html

This is the only part where the review mentions the Kennedy assassination:

Page 213; 347: H.W. as Oliver Stone—hours after the Kennedy assassination, Bush phones the FBI and tells them about a 24-year-old Bircher who he says plotted to kill the president. The man is later cleared. As CIA director, for reasons no one quite understands, Bush demands to see many of the agency’s assassination files.

So Bush apparently did call the FBI about a Bircher. But not as a CIA watch officer. He was not a CIA watch officer. The idea that he had a job as a CIA watch officer, a low level job, while simultaneously running a business, is mentally retarded. Nor would a higher level CIA job make any sense. Someone does not run a business and work as a CIA employee.

It's well known that Kelly is a fabricator anyway. The book was written to block George Bush from being reelected in 2004. She has often put made up quotes in her books. But I don't believe any such a quote is even in there.

I assume most of the rest of what you wrote (about the CIA) is made up or has key facts changed, but as I said I'm not discussing the question of CIA involvement.

What’s sad and intellectually lazy is the photos are apparently not the originals. They have been cropped. So it’s unknown how they compare to the originals.

What's sad and intellectually lazy is acting ignorant of well known facts. Initially, these are not photos, but frames from news film of the immediate aftermath of the JFK assassination. The camera man is in front of the Texas School Book Depository, which is to the left, and looking at the Dal-Tex building from which a Texas oil man had just been arrested according to a Dallas sheriff. An open window can be seen in the Dal-Tex building which very likely was a sniper's nest. IIRC, this film was saved from the trash by an employee who understood its historical importance. The second frame was published in full, along with a close up of the teen's face who resembles G. W. Bush in the collage. Only the close ups of two other frames were included in the collage to avoid redundancy.

The teen is the only person walking, and is moving away from the camera man without looking directly at the camera. He probably didn't want to be on film.
The other picture in the collage is clearly George W. Bush as cheerleader at his prep high School. I added another picture of him from his sophomore yearbook, (being sold on Ebay if anyone wants to buy it), with the same side profile as the film frames for comparison.

Even the researcher who provided the collage of photos can’t make a definitive claim.

The researcher clearly gave his opinion that by comparing the stated profile of the teen and G. W. Bush, that he is Bush. The preppy loafers wouldn't become fashionable in Texas for about another 20 years. The teen is from out of town.

Except that’s speculation, at best.

It's a reasoned opinion which was made from limited pictures of the teen Bush. For such a famous man, why are there not more photos of him as a teen? What did his high school jacket look like? We are curious. Did he not have any friends who took photos with him? We would expect that a president was a leader who led other groups and had friends in his youth. Yet, those photos are absent.

People of that generation all remember where they were when they heard that JFK had been shot, much as later generations remember when they heard of 9-11. Why has Bush not been asked about that or the film frames? Since his daughter is in the news business, why has no one asked her? Fear of being accused of promoting a "conspiracy theory" about a murder that 65% of the American public believes was a conspiracy?

If you are going to conduct an assassination conspiracy—and get away with it you need at a minimum:
—Control at the top of the relevant law enforcement authorities —Control over mass media coverage
In the case of the US/Kennedy assassination that would only be possible with LBJ, CIA and FBI involvement from day one.

The CIA had perfected the art of the modern coup d'etat around the world before bringing it home in November 1963. LBJ was given the choice of becoming POTUS, or getting dropped from the ticket in '64. JFK wanted a fundraiser and motorcade in TX before giving LBJ the bad news. He paid for that mistake with his life.

The CIA had Operation Mockingbird for mass media control—and of course the ability to put together assassination teams—lots of practice abroad.

Control of the mass media, both immediately after the assassination and long thereafter, enabled them to keep pushing the lone nut assassin theory which people generally rejected. People didn't believe the Warren Commission's magic bullet theory, buy split on who really killed JFK. Blaming Castro and the mafia deflected from the inside job that the JFK assassination really was.

However they could not manage a coverup (which still continues to this day) without LBJ’s cooperation and FBI involvement.
Since LBJ is long dead we need only look to the CIA and FBI to find agencies still linked to the assassination.

LBJ's successors continued the cover up. Nixon was in Dallas the day of the assassination, and Ford was on the Warren Commission that covered up the truth. Subsequent presidents have refused to release all of the files pertaining the assassination, and 60 years later the justification for that is hard to fathom on national security grounds. It is reasonable to conclude that those files are embarrassing to certain political families and government institutions. Col Prouty maintained that JFK was killed to change U.S. policy in Vietnam to start that war. Some files about Vietnam have been released, but most remain classified.

The most recent released assassination files had a bizarre surprise in them.

The handwritten draft of the Warren Commission Report had Gerald Ford’s handwriting—crossing off one location of one JFK bullet wound and replacing it with another location.

As we all know Gerald Ford was an expert in forensic science.

;-)

For those who do not know Ford was “Hoover’s man” on the Commission. Hoover had blackmail files on Ford’s activities at the DC “Kitkat Club”.

The FBI also is reported to have blackmailed C.J. Warren to head the commission with similar blackmail tactics about something in Mexico. Hoover made a point to know ever prominent politicians weak spots. The only person conducting a genuine investigation into the JFK assassination was New Orleans DA, Jim Garrison. Curiously, Garrison made an extradition request to California for Edgar Eugene Bradley. CA gov. Reagan refused that extradition request, which is now regarded as constitutionally illegal, through his "legal affairs secretary Edwin Meese III:

I did not know about Warren being blackmailed.

I did know that LBJ told Warren (lied) that he had to lie about the assassination to prevent WW III since Oswald was a Russian agent (a lie).

The LBJ lie was the CIA cover story (first line of defense).

Imho the CIA had a multi-layered cover story in place. The second line of defense was going to be to blame the mob. The mob was involved but they were not running the operation.

If necessary I think the CIA was also ready to throw the FBI to the wolves as a third line of defense—plenty of breadcrumbs there as well.

I am also convinced (and this is a bit more controversial) that if all of that failed they were ready to turn on LBJ as a final line of defense—of course his fingerprints were all over everything.

Both could be true. LBJ bragged about blackmailing Warren to head the commission on the investigation in a recorded phone call with GA senator Richard Russell, Jr.:

Rereading this, LBJ might have been referring to Oswald’s purported trip to the Soviet embassy in Mexico rather than Warren visiting Mexico for prostitution.

Lol. You’re a moron.

It would surprise no one to learn that the Bush family pays people to blog for them and protect their image in hopes of political comeback for someone like George P. Bush, or to keep Jenna on TV.

As I believe that Trump was forced to take Pence as his VP, Reagan was forced to take GHW Bush as his VP.
