!We'll be fighting in the streets With our children at our feet And the morals that they worship will be gone And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgment of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again
The change, it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the fold, that's all And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed 'Cause the banners, they are flown in the next war
I'll move myself and my family aside If we happen to be left half alive I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky Though I know that the hypnotized never lie Do ya?
There's nothing in the streets Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye And the parting on the left Are now parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again Don't get fooled again No, no
Yeah!
Meet the new boss Same as the old boss

A late 60's publicity photo of The Who, didn't know Roger Daltrey was short, plus he looks like a trannsie, Jane Asher.
For you youngins out there, Jane Asher was the hottest female star of the British cinema, in the mid-late 60's.
Keith Moon could drum.
This song makes no sense other than new boss same as the old boss, which is Biblical.
Pete Townshend looks like he gave himself a haircut in the dark.
I like the comment under the video, “John is like the cool babysitter looking after three hyperactive kids” LOL
I always liked Entwhistle’s solo work.
Baba O’riley is my wake up song at 6:00am.
Electrolytes and Cardio
Makes the whole day better!
Turn It Up!
I believe that was Keith Moon’s last live performance.
One of my if not my favorite Who song from my favorite Who album.
Keith Moon was a crazy man.
I liked the Who's "rock operas" - Tommy and Quadrophenia.
Moonie looks loonie.
Quite correct. That was sadly his last.
I prefer this WHO song to Pinball iZard.
I’ll never get tired of listening to Quadrophenia.
My BFF would go weak in the knees when Daltrey screamed in that song. She had quite a crush.
”Who’s Next” is one of those albums where every song is good, IMO. I remember my parents kind of rolling their eyes at the album cover. LOL
Right around that era British rock bands were at their peak IMHO. Many iconic albums were pressed in those days. The transition period out of the deep psychedelic movement.
Wow
Love The Who! Best pure rock band if them all to me.
