'There's a portal to hell in front of him!' Joe Biden is mocked over photo of himself celebrating 81st birthday in front of huge blazing cake

Joe Biden has been mocked after posting a photo of himself sitting alone at a dining table in The White House complete with a flaming cake to celebrate his 81st birthday.

'I turned 81 and all I got was a new social platform! Thanks for the well-wishes, folks,' Biden wrote as he made his first posting on the social media platform Threads.

And to the workers at the birthday candle factory, I hope your union got you overtime,' he quipped, as the cake appeared to be engulfed in flames.

But followers on other social media were quick to add fuel to the fire. 'There's a portal to hell on a plate in front of him', tweeted radio presenter Dana Loesch.

'Why he gripping the table like that?' asked Mubashar Ali. 'The cake reminds me of a state of the US economy it is in,' added another X user.

'Karine, he looks evil in this pic. Bad look,' wrote another commenter, aiming the message at White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Biden, the oldest president in American history when he took office in 2021, has faced doubts from pundits and polls whether he is still fit to lead.

The acknowledgement of his birthday comes after his communications director dodged and tried to rattle off a list of his achievements when asked about it.

Biden turned 81 with plans for a low-key Thanksgiving after Monday's turkey pardoning - where he confused Taylor Swift and Britney Spears during a speech.

At one point during the turkey pardoning, the president made light of his age.

'By the way, it's my birthday today,' the president said, adding that guests in the Oval Office sang 'Happy Birthday' to him before the event. 'I just want you to know, it's difficult turning 60. Difficult.'

He may be gripping the table to steady himself in the chair.

Dementia causes the shakes.

Thank you. Someone has zero sense of irony and self-awareness.

Can you post this along with the "Nazi rage" photo that has Joe at the lectern waving his fists in the air raging about "MAGA Republicans", with the red floodlights and US Marine guards posted like his personal thugs in the background?

Decades ago, I had a girlfriend who was taking a college class with a very boring teacher, who was dropping hints that he wanted his 78th birthday acknowledged. He was a nice enough man, otherwise.

Figuring a surprise party would cut into boring lecture time, I suggested we get a Carvel Ice Cream cake and 78 candles. Besides, it is a good excuse for a Carvel ice cream cake.

I bought the cheapest ice cream cake Carvel carried, which was shaped like a football cut in half the long way ($7.99). Only about five or six students, so it would be sufficient. We could barely fit the candle. Worse, a football shape is not flat, so the candles went in every direction. A small inferno ensued and the ice cream started melting quickly. The mess and the hubbub and commotion helped the goal of taking up time from the class, even if a delicious cake was largely melted.

I remember my grandfathers 80th birthday back when I was a kid.

I was amazed how much heat 80 little candles put out.

I’m surprised Biden didn’t explode.

Are Biden staffers trying to sabotage him?

I would be ok (if I were him) with "putting a lampshade" on the birthday, but he is ALL ALONE. The cake is small, so the 81 candles look like even more. It would have been simple to have Jill and some of his political friends (family is out due to Hunter) with him around a BIG rectangular cake with the Great Seal in the middle. No one would hold it against him if he passed on blowing out all of the candles. He could even enlist everyone's help, as even a president needs "the people" to get the job done. Hokey stuff like that. This just looks like a one-off from a high-end old folks home for a forgotten old man.

Did Joe’s head do a 360? I know Hillary’s did a couple of times.

The only things missing are his toga, his laurel wreath, and his violin…

I recently attended a birthday party for my daughter’s father-in-law’s 80th birthday. They had a stand with 80 candles in it, and he had the grandkids come and blow them out.

Biden could’ve had Kamala blow them out.

Geez, it wasn’t enough that the British burned down the White House, now Biden has to do it, too?

When your birthday cake requires enough candles to light up a major city, you might be too old to be president.

Check out how he is holding on to the corners of the table. Like he doesn’t want to get sucked into the abyss.

Heard him speaking on the radio yesterday - he sounded like a weak-voiced, feeble, befuddled old man - far worse than in 2020.

Yet, laughably, those around him claim they can “barely keep up” with his sharp intellect and incredible energy saying “you have to keep on your toes when you’re around him.”

You sure do b/c he falls a lot.
