Credit: Reduxx Denbighshire, Wales – A female pool player took a bold stand for integrity and fair play after electing to forfeit her final against a biological male opponent. In an arguably more surprising twist, the Welsh crowd expressed their approval in a place not exactly known for conservatism and political incorrectness.
As Fox News reported, Lynne Pinches was supposed to face off against Chris “Harriet” Haynes in the final of the Women’s Champion of Champions in Denbighshire, Wales on Sunday. But she decided to walk away before the first ball had been struck instead.
Video captured from Reduxx Magazine shows Pinches going to the table where both players take lag shots to determine who would break in the first frame right before Haynes goes to sit down.
Then things take a turn. Pinches goes to the referee to inform them of her decision to quit the match rather than face her male opponent.
Pinches then walks back to her seating and packs up her belongings before exiting the arena to applause from the crowd and cheers of “yes, Lynne!.”
As the Daily Mail notes, Haynes appeared shocked by Pinches’ stand and the crowd’s reaction.
Pinches’ brother Barry went on social media to praise his sister’s audacious stance and voiced his warranted view that it was unfair for her to have to face off against a man.
Full credit and great respect to my sister Lynne Pinches yesterday for taking a stand and not playing in the biggest match of her pool playing life because she feels it’s so unfair to have to compete against a trans woman.
I completely agree with her view that it is totally unfair to expect women to compete against trans women in pool or any other sport for that matter.
Pinches’ son Tommy revealed his mom was in tears after forfeiting but was proud of her decision to put professional integrity ahead of potential glory.
Had my mum in tears a couple of weeks ago because of Ultimate Pool going back on what they said they was going to do at the end of the year with this current situation.
I know how much getting to this final means and to just concede and forfeit the title trophy prize money would not have been easy for her to do!
Stood up for what you believe in and your semi-final was your final in my honest opinion so well done on a fantastic weekend.
Despite forfeiting the final, Pinches did stay on site to pose with her runner-up trophy.

If the female athletes across the globe are willing to take the same bold stand as Pinches, woke sports leagues will have to stop placing men in female events unless they desire to go broke instead. But maybe that is exactly what they deserve.
What about some 40 year old sexual weirdo who 'self identifies' as a ten year old boy
There is a man, a pedophile, who now looks like a female. Initially he/she may seem more approachable to the child. The man’s appearance as a woman becomes a psychological ploy to be used on the child.
Having a fake female abuse a child would undermine, if not destroy, the child’s natural affinity for women. That young and fragile psyche would no longer have a level of comfort or trust in females. This would create confusion on the part of the child from which they might never recover. The result is an even greater and deeper abuse.
We can never underestimate the absolutely diabolical nature of the psychopaths and pedophiles of the elite ruling class.
Sure. If females refuse to compete in unfair events against males, the sponsors will be screwed. Think of it as a strike.
Pretty bad when it becomes BRAVE and BOLD to stand up against this nonsense.
Agree.
That, or, start a biological women’s league/championships.
The irrational mistake you make (and many others do as well) is you take the exception and make it the rule.
You see, the courageous woman who chose to forfeit the game rather than go along with the crazy delusion is an exception.
The rule that one can deduce from this is that, generally speaking, the majority of women buy the delusion or are too timid to fight or else they would have told the organizers to shove it and refuse to participate at all.
The “rule” is made by the majority.
Yes. Brava to this woman. And if that other person had an iota of class they would not have accepted a trophy on a forfeit.
Not an athlete, but my daughter was. She was no superstar, but she started for her HS Varisty Basketball team. Just one trans student on that team, and I’m pretty sure she would have warmed the bench. 100% sure if there were 2 trans.
ALL WOMAN ATHLETES BOYCOTT NOW BOYCOTT UNTIL THIS ENDS
Because he wants to make others accept his insanity.
Height and arm length is a huge advantage in both pool and darts.
Strength is a clear advantage in breaking the rack in pool but also in practicing in darts.
It's not just the strength during competition, it's the endurance during practice; the more you throw, the better you get. A man simply has more arm strength for longer practice sessions in darts.
With darts in particular, many throwers drink alcohol while competing. Men, with a higher body weight, have a deeper and longer window where they're "in the zone"; relaxed enough to throw with calm precision but not too drunk to throw accurately.
Women's alcohol window when they're "in the zone" is shorter with a more catastrophic and abrupt end.
Dart tournaments are a rowdy affair, with fans (and hecklers) screaming their heads off. Being mellowed out with alcohol helps the thrower.
Even now, I'd send it back to the league.
Exactly!
In the game of billiards, it’s
advantageous to have greater
reach and height.
The purpose of competition is to show your advantage over everyone.
I understand not allowing freaks into a women’s competition.
All this crap makes me think about Vonnegut’s Harrison Bergeron.
If all women did this, it would put an end to it right now.
You're right, you really don't . There are women's categories and men's categories for a purpose and since you can't differentiate between the two, that's why you're part of the problem......Sheesh!
