Israeli forces have cut the Gaza Strip in two, surrounded Gaza City, and are tightening the noose around the reported nerve center of Hamas. Before the ground invasion began on October 28, Israel pounded the strip with artillery and air strikes, killing scores of terrorists and their leaders. Many have hidden in the matrix of tunnels, which has been an operational concern for the IDF. They’re booby-trapped. It’s nearly impossible to see, and some tunnels are 250+ feet underground. So far, Israel has been able to make inroads, but some 30-40,000 Hamas terrorists remain embedded in the strip like ticks. They’ll be uprooted, especially now that re-supply from Iran is now impossible. It will take time.
Hamas’ grip has loosened enough that scores of civilians have been able to make to make it safety. Terrorists are still shooting at Gazans trying to flee south, but those who have made it to IDF lines have reportedly been providing valuable intelligence on the whereabouts of Hamas hideouts and weapons stashes. The IDF did a leaflet drop, promising financial compensation for any information on the whereabouts of the 200-plus civilians that were taken by Hamas on October 7. Most who replied didn’t want money, just safe passage out of the war zone:
Obviously, the IDF should move on the verified information and wipe out those Hamas dogs where they lie, but you already know the risks here.
CO is so close in density to air that it is considered neutral with respect to buoyancy in most situations. Little differences in temperature are more significant. And with respect to cyanide, propane, etc., I think using any toxic gas is anathema to the Jewish people for obvious historical reasons.
Actually, this is encouraging as there are some peace loving Palestinians who view Hamas as evil.
I think that one of the little understood facts is how much radical terrorists are hated by other Muslim countries. Where radical Palestinians have been allowed to flee, they have fomented revolutions to overthrow governments of the countries that have given them sanctuary. That is why Jordan, Egypt and other countries do not want refugees; they are afraid that the refugees will be contaminated with terrorists.
Again, it is nice to hear that there are some who just want to relocate to a peaceful place to live their lives and that they will turn against terrorists to achieve that.
Do whatever it takes to get those hostages out FIRST and THEN take care of anything left.
And your point?
These slim don’t care about rules. Eradicate them by any means necessary
Pump in liquid nitrogen. Before it warms up it will sink. It will quickly put people to sleep before they die. Or you could just toss in a bunch of African Bee hives then seal it up
Yes, much the same happened in Mosul in 2017. PBS, of all sources, did a good documentary on the civilian casualties in Mosul which, if the Kurdish intel sources were correct, make the casualties in Gaza not out of line at all...
If you’re concerned about the humanity of the act, pure nitrogen would do the trick too, and the air we breathe has a large percentage of it.
I sincerely feel for the hostages. However most of them know that while they can hold hope for their rescue, the reality is that they also know what animals their captors are and how those captors feel about human lives.
The only real hope that the hostages have is that when Hama$$ realizes that the IDF is simply blowing up any tunnel they find without investigating what is down there, Hama$$ will remove the hostages to a non-tunnel holding area rather than lose their only bargaining chip.
.
now THAT’S a great Idea! just drop live pigs into the tunnels along with bbq sauce then wait. Humanitarianism at its best!
Nitrogen. Non-toxic, heavier than plain air, cheap. Their deep tunnels have to have ventilation intakes. Find ‘em.
BUahahahahahahahahahaha!
using any toxic gas is anathema to the Jewish people for obvious historical reasons.
...
Excellent point
“ toxic gas is anathema to the Jewish people for obvious historical reasons.”
Good point. I stupidly did not think of that.
Propane would also work quite well and when it blows destroys the tunnel complex and everyone in it.
“Many have hidden in the matrix of tunnels, which has been an operational concern for the IDF. They’re booby-trapped. It’s nearly impossible to see, and some tunnels are 250+ feet underground.”
How did they dig all those tunnels without being observed? Seems like that’s a lot of dirt to dispose of.
Propane would also work quite well and when it blows destroys the tunnel complex and everyone in it.
Good question! Somehow, I don't think that they
