In addition to piercings...she had a full sleeve tattoo on her right arm all the way down to her hand...and if you look at the interior of the car she is sitting in...the headliner is some kind of furry, multicolored, tie dyed looking thing. She has spent thousands of dollars on tattoos, piercings and the car...does she expect all that free? Would that be “fair?”

There is no direct commandment that says we must leave an inheritance. Ecclesiastes discusses the futility of a man who works hard all of life and saves a lot of money but ends up dying with the money being spent by his heirs who foolishly spend it.(All is vanity and meaningless...there is nothing new under the sun)
It is not a bad thing to want to leave a little something for your surviving family but the survivors should have no expectations that they deserve to get what they did not earn themselves.
Usually a prison term is earned...
Based on my own observations over the years I would say most American parents coddle their children. In middle class neighborhoods its rare that you see children do any work around the house or helping out with chores. Instead its a steady routine of sports, shopping trips, movie outings, etc. Its one form entertainment after another.
This work free life breeds entitlement and a detachment from reality IMO.
I fear for the future of this country. We’ve let the marxist ruin education and everything else but many future “leaders” will have some form of what this little imbecile has been brainwashed into thinking.
First you must work in order to produce enough value to cover your own necessities. If you don’t do that then you will be a constant burden to others and they will resent your lack of productivity.
Then you encourage others to produce enough to cover their own necessities so that they are not a burden to you and you will not resent their lack of productivity.
Next you incentivize people to increase their productivity by allowing them to benefit greatly by that increased productivity. You must also work to increase your own productivity.
Only then do you have the luxury of “helping others” and you must be very careful that you do not destroy your earlier accomplishments by being overly generous.

She's really pondering what life is all about. To answer these life questions, she needs to serve people in more need than herself and to find God. Putting in long selfless hours at some local charity would go a long way toward her finding herself.
