“Go to STARRS.US (a blog by USAF Academy grades)”
Oops, that’s “grads”. I had a DIE moment.
My God. I sure hope it wasn’t a KC-135 refueler. I know folks who man those aircrafts. Tragic no matter who was involved obviously, and prayers are up for the families of those who perished.

That’s called Opsec.
No further info will be released.
Are we at war and not know it?
Operations Security (OPSEC) is the process by which we protect critical information whether it is classified or unclassified that can be used against us. It focuses on preventing our adversaries’ access to information and actions that may compromise an operation.
I think the Navy retired the Viking a while back.
Reports are coming in that it is a helicopter.
FOX is reporting that it was some form of a chopper, and that it was SOCOM members that were lost.
It was an MH-60, apparently on a SOCOM “training mission”.
If I had to guess, it was either SEALs or MARSOC practicing hostage rescue/evacuation, or possibly elimination/capture of a high value target.
The five U.S. service members killed in an aircraft crash on Saturday were special operations personnel, Fox News has learned.
The aircraft that the service members were flying in had “suffered a mishap” and crashed, according to U.S. European Command (EUCOM). It was on a routine refueling air mission.
The aircraft was a spec ops Black Hawk helicopter. The training accident is under investigation.
President Biden said in a statement that he and his wife are “praying for the families and friends who have lost a precious loved one.”
“Our service members put their lives on the line for our country every day,” Biden’s statement read. “They willingly take risks to keep the American people safe and secure. And their daily bravery and selflessness is an enduring testament to what is best in our nation.”
Fox News Digital’s Jennifer Griffin, Stephen Sorace and the Associated Press contributed to this report.
BULL. MORE REGIME LIES. MURDERED.
Hey, if you can't trust the government in the lead-up to a global war, who can you trust???
Vaccuum cleaner? Haven’t heard that one before. May you enlighten me?
Xiden’s incompetent woke military strikes again. Some tranny was probably redoing his makeup and got everyone killed.
That thought crossed my mind. Pilots or mechanics hired on an affirmative action basis?
Honestly. For real.
Couldn’t be other wise. After all the fact that there have almost fifty attacks in the past month on US bases around The Middle East is mere coincidence.
Dittos!
From an old Squid.
It’s not like the Eastern Med is a war zone these days.
