WASHINGTON (AP) — The B-21 Raider took its first test flight on Friday, moving the futuristic warplane closer to becoming the nation’s next nuclear weapons stealth bomber.
The Raider flew in Palmdale, California, where it has been under testing and development by Northrop Grumman.

They did move the inlet from the center of the wing to the top. But closer to the German design than to the B-35 / 49.
A pilot and a dog:
The pilot is there to feed the dog. The dog is there to bite the pilot if he touches anything.
I was lucky enough to see the B-2 flight leaving Whitman in the pre-dawn with we hit back after 9/11. I did not post about it at the time as loose lips etc. but I stopped my car on the shoulder, got out and shook my fist in the air with a shout. I was amped.

I was stationed at Whiteman when the first B-2 was delivered in 1993. It was impressive to watch then, and I’m still super-impressed when I see it.
