I am a 250-lb, 6-foot, 65 year-old Freeper from southern Ohio. I have been on 80 mg FloMax since summer and I don't like it. And it doesn't seem to work that well.
I have seen that there are several different surgical options. I would appreciate anyone who could share their experience and/or advice. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I don’t like cranberry juice at all, but it does help against UTIs. We still have a quart left from when my wife was using it against a UTI (she really, really hates it), so that’ll be good for a few days and then I’ll get some more.
I went to a good doctor who had me go daily for a couple of weeks where I got radiation treatments. They check my PSA levels twice per year now. Mine has been fine.
