WASHINGTON, Sunday, Nov. 8.

The following has been received:

FIRST DISPATCH.

HEADQUARTERS ARMY OF THE POTOMAC, Saturday, Nov. 7 -- 9:30 P.M.

Maj.-Gen. SEDGWICK advanced to the Railroad crossing, where he drove the enemy to the river, assaulted and captured two redoubts with artillery, on this side, taking a number of prisoners.

Maj.-Gen. FRENCH advanced to Kelly's Ford, driving the enemy in small force across the river, and captured several hundred prisoners at the Ford. GEO. G. MEADE,

Major-General Commanding.

SECOND DISPATCH.

HEADQUARTERS ARMY OF THE POTOMAC, Saturday, Nov. 7 -- 10 P.M.

Gen. SEDGWICK reports capturing this P.M. in his operations, four Colonels, three Lieutenant-Colonels, many other officers and over 800 men, together with four battle-flags.

Gen. FRENCH captured over 400 prisoners, officers and men. GEORGE G. MEADE,

Major-General Commanding.

WASHINGTON, Sunday, Nov. 8.

Mr. E.A. PAUL sends to this Bureau the following:

ARMY OF THE POTOMAC, Sunday, Nov. 8.

A portion of the Third corps made a dash across Kelly's Ford last evening at about 4 o'clock and captured nearly all of the Second and Thirteenth North Carolina regiments, belonging to Gen. RAMSEY's brigade and driving them back to their supports, held the position. There was but little loss on either side.

Two hundred and fifty prisoners were captured with their officers, and to-day were sent forward to Washington. Some of the prisoners say they will never go into the rebel army again.

Our troops are crossing the Rappahannock to-day without much opposition.

Annexed is an additional list of the men wounded at Rappahannock Station last evening, principally belonging to the Fifth corps.

Third brigade, First Division, Fifth corps, Gen. CHAMBERLIN, composed of the Forty-fourth New-York, Twentieth Maine, Eighty-third Pennsylvania and Sixteenth Michigan.
