I, too, want to limit foreign aid, but it’s perfectly okay for people to be against that.

That is so wrong, it actually sounds like propaganda spread on social media by Hamas supporters to cover for their brutal and purposeful killing of children.
Hamas purposely target children and kill them in the most brutal and horrific fashion, and actually they seem to enjoy doing so. They rape the women and girls they can get their hands on before killing them.
The Israelis/jews purposely try to reduce civilian casualties as much as they can. Hamas takes advantage of this by hiding in the middle of civilians and places like schools, hospitals, hotels, churches e.t.c.

I agree. At the beginning of the Republic, there was no thought that the country should be involved in every conflict in the world. But now the interventionists (both left and right) want us to be not only involved but to fund the conflict.

I belive the Jews are chosen by God. I believe the Israeli government is socialist/communist/totalitarian and has violated it’s citizens with gun control and by failing to protect it’s borders.
A bit misleading, the majority did support Aid to Britain, in the hope it would avoid the US having to go to war. But if you really pressed them, most probably did support the US going to war with Hitler, if it appeared that Britain was truly in peril.
And the fact is, with Japan's belligerence, we could not support a two-ocean Navy, we relied on the Royal Navy to guard the Atlantic, while we beefed up our Pacific capabilities. Had the Nazis neutralized the Royal Navy, we would have been in a world of hurt.
