That is an extraordinary confession, but it is far from factual.
The truth is that Ukraine's corruptions are roughly equivalent to those of other similar countries, from Turkey to Brazil, Philippines, Argentina and Mexico.
Further, Ukrainians have publicly battled against corruption and since 2000 improved their scores by more than double.

In the meantime, Russia's scores have remained virtually unchanged, in one of the lowest, most corrupt categories along with countries like Pakistan, Mozambique, Uganda, Congo, Iran & Iraq.

So, anyone claiming that, somehow, Ukrainians are uniquely corrupt, or even more corrupt than Russia, is pure nonsense.

On top of that, it's often claimed that Russians have more traditional conservative values than Ukrainians, which again is pure nonsense.
So here again is the comparison of Russian, USA and Ukrainian traditional family values:

1. Russians are 47% Christian, 45% no formal religion.

2. Americans are 64% Christian, 30% no formal religion.

3. Ukrainians are 85% Christian, 12% no formal religion.

Part of the explanation is simple and obvious -- Ukranians are far less urbanized than either Russians or Americans and less urban people tend to be more conservative in their values.
A second part of the explanation is that the Communist atheists Russians killed millions of Ukrainians in the 1930s Holodomor, so Ukrainians know for certain that God is not on the side of godless Russians.

We can be certain today that no country, including the USA, has waged war against its own corruptions more vigorously than has Ukraine's government.

It seemed to me your post #87 was in support of those anti-Ukraine berserkers howling "draft dodger" at somebody named Denys Davydov, while they accused him of all manner of other corruptions.
So, it seems to me you want to have it both ways -- 1) let's howl "draft dodger" at this Davydov while 2) making excuses for everyone else not serving their own country.

The whole idea of NATO trying "to invade Russia" is absurd and obscene beyond measure, since from 1991 on into the early 2000s, Russia itself planned to join NATO and was on very friendly terms.
Russia joining NATO would make any potential for a NATO invasion 100% impossible.
But Vlad the Invader did not want NATO as his friend and ally, he wanted NATO as his enemy and so chose that path instead.

And the reason is obvious -- Old Soviet KGB agent Putin wants to restore the old Soviet and/or Tsarist Empire to its former glory and power.
For that reason he's threatened most of his neighbors and invaded some of them, like Hitler in the 1930s, beginning with Chechnya (like the Rhineland), Georgia (like Austria) and Ukraine (like Czechoslovakia), not to mention Moldova, Syria (like Spain) and other countries with Wagner forces fighting there (like Ethiopia in the 1930s).

All of this makes Russia's invasion of Ukraine not a "special military operation" or even a separate war, but rather just one theater in the larger Cold War II, which Vlad, Xi and the Mullahs have launched against the West and our friends around the world.

The issue today then is, how long will it take those with their heads buried in the sand to see what's obvious to everyone else willing to look around us.
