Long Beach residents are up in arms after yet another horrifying incident that occurred Wednesday involving a homeless person in the downtown area of the city, an area that local police refer to as The Beast.
In the latest episode, a homeless man was filmed masturbating in front of a nail salon window, refusing pleas to stop as those inside watched on in horror.
In an interview with Fox Los Angeles the salon's owner said that it took police nearly two hours to respond to their 911 call. The owner said in the same interview that one of her employees was sexually assaulted in the neighborhood earlier this year.
It was less than two weeks ago when a woman became the victim of an attempted rape in broad daylight that was caught on camera in the same area. That woman was only saved when an elderly man pepper sprayed the 'demon possessed' suspect.
Despite arresting the assailant, liberal Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon's office opted to charge him with minor sexual battery charges that could see him avoid any jail time altogether.
A woman who works in the area who witnessed the homeless man masturbating outside of Salon 500 told KTLA in an interview that sometimes the police don't even respond to calls in the area.
'It's daily, it's daily. It's scary. You don't not feel safe walking the streets here,' Zoe Garcia told the station.
'[The cops] took two hours to arrive. Most times, they don't even come out,' she added.
Meanwhile the owner of Salon 500 described how terrifying it is to try to run a business in a such a lawless environment.

North west side which has always been sketchy. Many parts of Long Beach are well patrolled and safe. I commend the LBPD for doing a great job despite the woke BS!
As to those who say you voted for it…screw off…no we did not! Elections were setup to be stolen in California during the second election of Pres Clinton and the RINO’S signed off on the steal. If I were you I’d get out of that region soon as possible. I know it intimately. Driving from Compton one can be in Long Beach in 5 minutes...From Wilmington, 1 minute drive to Long Beach. Then there is North Long Beach itself. Tons of dangerous lowlife in that region.
I am not near Compton. Have lived and worked in the South Bay since early ‘70’s. Currently north OC.
Sales Rep…outside sales as is my daughter now…. Always aware of where you travel, never wear flashy clothing or jewelry, research any sales call stops as to parking and quick entry or exit. I have been doing this since the 1980’s FGS! It’s LA! Long Beach has one area to beware and that is North west from the 91 fwy to downtown….with exception of the cleaned up part near the coast and aquarium. There is actually LE that protects these areas. The areas near the 91 fwy and beyond are questionable. They are closer to Compton by the way.
SoCal is spread out all over the place. You can drive 10 miles in any direction and be in a safe space or an unsafe space. It has been this way since the 1970’s.
Currently, watching out for encampments around Fullerton airport and any areas with Metro rail stops. This does not exonerate city, county and state agencies from their duty to protect citizens from harm… this post is to clarify that the harm has always been allowed to exist! The only difference is now they (uniparty) are replenishing their troops via open border.

The LA area, (For the tourist, that means all of S.CA.) is a lost cause, not even salvageable and only gets worse...It's a very dangerous venue, with countless misfits, criminals, illegals, Muslims, kinky freaks, homeless, gangsters, American hating foreign nationals and violent mental cases.
