Teen shot outside Sardi’s in Theater District; 5 young men arrested

A teen was shot and wounded outside of Sardi’s in Midtown Tuesday night as diners were eating inside the iconic eatery, according to police and law enforcement sources.

The gunfire rang out in front of the Theater District restaurant at 234 West 44th Street shortly after 10 p.m., police said.

A 16-year-old boy was shot and five young men were taken into custody near the scene, the NYPD said.
