Ohio St., Georgia, Michigan, Florida St. atop CFP rankings

Ohio State took the No. 1 spot in the first College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday night, while two-time defending national champion Georgia is right behind at No. 2.
Michigan, under NCAA investigation amid sign stealing allegations, is No. 3, while Florida State is No. 4 and Washington is No. 5. Oregon is the top-ranked one-loss team in the rankings at No. 6, while Texas is one spot ahead of Alabama thanks to the strength of its head-to-head win over the Tide in September.

Marvin Harrison Jr. (Son of Colts legend Marvin Harrison) is an absolute beast. He’ll be in the top 10 draft picks for sure, probably the overall #1 selection.

I guess OSU is ahead based on two ranked victories for OSU vs. none for Michigan and Georgia and one for FSU.

Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, I’m a huge Buckeye fan.
They do not deserve this ranking. They should be number 3 at best. Hit or miss offense (QB), but Marvin Harrison Jr!
Defense is a beast, though.
We’ll know for sure in a few more weeks.

Agree- 1000%.
My daughter goes to OSU and we root for the Bucks- was out for the Maryland game. Day is not a good coach, the QB is spotty on a good day and the team only plays to their level of competition which will get them killed against the team up north

Different polls- this is the CFP poll. Air Force could go 22-0 and they would never get a spot in the college football playoffs out of the mountain west

IU
MSU
Not exactly murderers’ row. PSU and OSU coming up - those will be about the only real tests Michigan gets.
