I wish no harm on Americans or others but if tourists have the money to go there and spend thousands then they don’t need my help.

The video is about the destruction following the storm in Acapulco, and the need for international intervention as Mexico is unable to respond or supply any support services.

I’m watching it now and it takes awhile to figure out what this video is about. Storm damage has disabled the flow of traffic and services. The film features bodies in the streets covered with debris for decency, but there’s no one to come remove them.
The President of Mexico says that a convoy of supplies heading south to the Port has stopped due to destruction of the highway. Police, National Guard etc. are not seen and traffic remains in some portions in gridlock - 3 hours and counting in the video.
Looting is rampant, but the reality of missing food/water and services has not set in yet, so stores like Costco are being emptied of electronics and children’s toys.

The airport is damaged (video just shows 3 light aircraft in a pile) but accessible to helicopters. He hopes for a hospital ship and ships to remove tourists stranded there.
He begs for humanitarian support from all nations, and asks where the UN is.

He says this is a test, there will be more. He says that the intensification of the storm, the flash of light from the sky, the appearance of the sun -this is a test (of technology) and we have to help each other.

Perhaps the cartels could help. After all, they’re flush with cash from their trafficking operations.

Why should we worry about Mexico... Most of its citizens are already inside the United States living the tax-free life...

IAC, any Americans dumb enough tp travel in that s_hole need not concern us...

Somebody wake me when mehico is under water.

I’ll drink a toast to Mother Nature for creation of a natural barrier and elimination of the bulk of our problems.

Otherwise, I could GAS.

Winds of 165MPH. Bad things happen...Don’t look for Biden to move quickly. Think of those Americans left behind in Afghanistan. Again in Israel. It’s what slow Joe does.

Mexico should have a FEMA. A Red Cross etc.
It takes a long time. Remember Katrina Recovery and corruption.

$Billions in remittances, $billions funneling into the cartels pockets (with kickbacks to US pols to keep it that way), $billions in legitimate trade, a pretty good likelyhood that Mexican citizens will take care of their own ... maybe this is just a bit of a hustle for $$$?

I’ve read that the Cartels basically own all the hotels and restaurants, just like the Mafia used to here.

They will be back up and running in no time.......

Maybe Biden is ignoring the humanitarian need for Mexicans and the tourists all trapped in Acapulco without police or access to medical because it comes at a time he wants to give the Ukraine every last dime we have.

“ The hurricane hit hard. The WSJ just reported Mexico is airlifting food and other help, into the area.”

Thanks.

I had no idea what this post was talking about.

Most Mexicans are now in the USA.

What you see in Mexico are Guatemalans.

Mexico will soon take over the USA and then Guatemala will take over Mexico.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
