Where was the window dresser? All the store security was kick him in the groin, and see he wasn't a mannequin.

Reminds me of Evening Primrose, by the great short story writer John Collier.

I read that first as ‘Portland’ and wondered why he was going to all the trouble when he could have just smash’ngrabbed.

This is chump change. Better to pose as a puppet in order to steal billions from the American taxpayer.

Security: Pretty real looking mannequin.
Mannequin: Thank you
Security: You’re welcome. Carry on.

Reminds me of the trick of getting into an event by walking slowly backwards through the exiting crowd.

LOL
I thought of that classic episode, too. A way to nip crime in the bud.

I did once get into the ballet by folding up a bill so it looked something like a ticket.
The front row was always empty. The sound of shoes hitting the floor detracts from the aesthetics.
Got to see Fonteyn and Nureyev.

Points for thinking outside the box.
If the could come up with a good plan to robe a bank, and get away with it I would have done it decades ago.ππ
What? The FDIC would cover your meager losses.π

I remember my 14 year old son telling me that bank robbers have an 80% success rate. I got a little bit scared...but he turned out all right.
