‘Breaking Biden’ Author: Five Takeaways from Joe’s Duplicitous Oval Office Address About Ukraine
Breitbart ^

Posted on 10/20/2023 6:15:31 AM PDT by Tench_Coxe

Joe Biden gave a rare Oval Office address Thursday night that began with a clear condemnation of Hamas terror, but quickly shifted focus to cynical politicking and narrative setting, even while Americans are still being held hostage.

(snip)

He tried to connected Israel and Ukraine in order to suggest to Americans that if you support Israel’s war for its own survival, you must also support limitless taxpayer resources being sent to Ukraine – after those funds make a pit stop in the bank accounts of U.S. defense contractors, of course.

Scumbag. Didn't watch the speech. Knew ahead of time it would primarily be about keeping the laundromat going.

Joe doesn’t care if the country goes bankrupt. His family will be taken care of.

biden’s Israel trip was primarily a ‘fundraiser’ for Ukraine, where he has vast financial interests. Everything is done for politics and the family business.

It was like watching a tennis match between funding Israel and funding Ukraine. I didn’t hear much about securing OUR border or Iran’s involvement.

Joe Biden is president, but he’s not the shot-caller.

Man Ukraine must have some really damaging proof of the historical Biden’s crime family’s income.

I suspect you are 100 percent correct. And a lot of other politicos in the US and Europe as well.

Also peddling a hidden agenda was media mogul Shari Redstone at a closed gathering of Jewish and Black Hollywood Power Players in elitist Spago restaurant, where she shared her “profound grief,” speaking About the Israeli attack, Antisemitism and Racism.

It was truly amazing that in her “profound grief” over the attack on her beloved
country of Israel, knee jerk liberal Shari Redstone was still able to summon
up riffs on diversity, virtue signalling, and assorted other liberal shibboleths.

Redstone’s media empire includes MTV and Comedy Central, which unceasingly
mock Christianity and spread LGBT propaganda, and other liberal America hatred.

She is one of the most powerful people in Hollywood, an observant Jew
and a supporter of Israel, who says she’s been “reeling” since Oct. 7.

But oddly enough, Redstone still had the PC cojones to make sure
Hollywood’s Black artists were obeisant witnesses to her “grief.”

BTW, despite Redstone’s efforts (her hidden agenda), we still
haven’t heard Hollywood Blacks condemn the Hamas attack.

I didn’t watch it either. I had a VERY difficult decision to make, I could either watch a brain dead old man talk nonsense or I could watch the Astros and Rangers play baseball. So I cracked open a cold beer and watched baseball. 10-3 Astros, Verlander goes tonight for Houston. Actually, it wasn’t a very hard decision.

Rangers blew it. Never should have started Scherzer in Game 3.

I expect the Astros to win the next 2 and end it.

Same Old Rangers.

This is how BeijingBiden will refuse any support for Israel. He will (for purposes of person wealth) tie all Israel aid to more Uk aid.

Oh, and did you hear, Uk is now banning the Church in UK? Hmm, I guess they were not willing to sign on like the Vatican did when Hitler wanted to murder Jews.

Ukraine is becoming Hamas. Openly.

I didn’t watch either, but the fact that he hissed the B.S. that if you support Israel’s war for its own survival, you must also support limitless taxpayer resources being sent to Ukraine just confirms to me that my stance on all of this is the correct one.

And the author nails it with this, but needs to include Congressional fat cats as well. And Robinette gets his cut, too.

“…after those funds make a pit stop in the bank accounts of U.S. defense contractors, of course.”

Excellent analysis.

I also noticed the rhetorical attempt to link Israel and Ukraine regards our funding / support for both of these wars. This is far from the truth.

***(How Ukraine and Israel are NOT tied)

Israel is a real democracy, not Ukraine. Israel really was surprise attacked. In Ukraine we forced Russia’s hand and we knew it might come as we kept pushing harder and harder with NATO, arming the nationalists with ever more and lethal aid, funding a mercenary army... In Ukraine we antagonized quite a bit.

In Ukraine there was a lot of room for negotiating and the Russians who conduct a lot of trade with Ukraine really didn’t want to damage their neighbor. We could have postponed NATO expansion (we in reality controlled the timeline), we could have offered security assurances (limits on weapons and manpower, demilitarized zones, inspections, mediation strategies and remedies if there are violations). But we simply attempted to steam-roll the Russians, with the rest now being history.

Israel on the other hand faces a threat where there is no compromise since at the heart of Hamas and Hezbollah is the complete destruction of Israel (Outside any scope of reasonable compromise). Even though the Palestinian side mentions the 1967 borders, it’s really driving Israel and the Jews into the sea which is their goal. How do you negotiate with someone that wants you dead?

***(How Ukraine and Israel are tied)

By fueling this Russia is causing pressure on our allies Jordan, Egypt, Turkey and Saudi Arabia which is causing issues between us and them. In the Saudi case, relations are already strained. You now have Palestinian refugees and no one really wants them. You have the Muslim world demanding action regards their people in Gaza, and where does that leave our allies which have leaders that are taking no action other than lip service?

How will this impact oil prices? From Russia’s perspective this can only be positive meaning for them to go up (bad for us economically and good for them):

How does this impact the US war machine? This was the article that was in the news 10 months ago: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/17/us/politics/ukraine-israel-weapons.html And our leaders/experts told us this won’t have an impact. This is the article from 2 days ago: https://www.axios.com/2023/10/19/us-israel-artillery-shells-ukraine-weapons-gaza

Expect more reports about Kornet-E, advanced RPGs, drones, MANPADS, some missile... and many other Russian toys to pop up in places where they hurt our side.

Sure would suck if Iran gets their hands on a hyper-sonic anti ship missile. Wait, they just conducted tests for these. I wonder how they did that?

I suspect, that in the near future, you might hear about a lot more dangerous threat systems proliferating, you might hear about enemies in places like Iraq using more sophisticated systems on our forces. Expect this to get much worse.

They are connected in a bigger picture.

Well, I was certainly wrong. I figured for sure after it went back to Houston the Astros could at least win one of two. Rangers smoked ‘em last night.

Yeah, I’m still traumatized from 2011. Even with an 8-run lead in the ninth I was still nervous.

What we saw is the difference between a Jon Daniels Rangers team and a Chris Young Rangers team. Rangers did some dealing at the trade deadline, whereas Daniels usually sat on his hands. Indicates to me ownership had more faith in Chris Young. I admit I was wrong, I thought sure they had no chance after the way they ended the regular season.
