A transgender man has said they are being forced to flee Florida because of anti-LGBTQ laws.
Brave Rory Richards, from Alachua County, has said state laws mean he is now unable to be prescribed gender-affirming care. Senate Bill 254 was passed by state lawmakers earlier this year and was signed by Governor Ron DeSantis.
It stops transgender treatment for anyone under the age of 18, while adults like Rory, 28, have to give consent to treatment and have a physician with them. The law means it can be difficult for transgender patients to get in-person appointments because the care is prescribed by nurses.

I remember when “he is” was gender neutral. Then the feminists made us use “he or she is” which was mildly annoying but acceptable and not unreasonable. At least we had a singular term for an individual person even if it was a bit awkward.
But the transmaniacs forcing us to apply the “they” plural construction to an individual is just wrong and a serious ruination of the language.

“Gender-affirming care” is really gender-denying drugs. They don’t do a thing about a person’s gender, only the superficial appearances which are outwardly recognized.
It’s called the United States, freak, not the People’s Democratic Republic of Bidenland. Don’t like how a state is “victimizing” you? Leave and go to another that will be happy to enable your mental illnesses. Or go to another country altogether. And stay there.
