I remember when “he is” was gender neutral. Then the feminists made us use “he or she is” which was mildly annoying but acceptable and not unreasonable. At least we had a singular term for an individual person even if it was a bit awkward.
But the transmaniacs forcing us to apply the “they” plural construction to an individual is just wrong and a serious ruination of the language.
