LOL, who didn’t worry about that before they entered a profession or a college to earn a degree without having actually seen the job in action...I can completely sympathize.
I got a degree in Chemistry-never worked at it a day in my life, went into Nuclear Medicine instead, so I ended up getting two degrees.
I realized after the fact I never would have enjoyed working as a chemist. I was too gregarious and people-oriented.
In medicine, over the years, I have seen a lot of people ranging from nurses to physicians who clearly regret their choice of going into medicine...many of them simply don’t like people enough or a job that brings them into physical contact with people (patients) but...whaddya gonna do?
Funny. My wife and I got to the point we could nearly spot them a mile away.
Sigh. Thing is-if we ever get industry back on track in this country, we may have great need of people to hunt around for raw materials for industry.
I think the environmental movement and the Left have put so many restrictions on the exploitation of natural resources that investors don’t want to even try.
They are clearly trying to demonize people looking for “black gold”...you “raper of Mother Gaia”!
You forgot pillage. We rape and pillage the earth.

Excellent summary of the DIE evil.
Thank you, NorthMountain!
IOWs, IOWs

It might be too late.
Pray for Trump.
I
Yes. I have the same fear. It may be too late. But it is never too late to try!
I’m with you on this.
