Moral equivalence has two purposes. One is to enable the morally confused to hide their confusion. The other is to enable the immoral to hide their immorality.
Here are two examples as applied to the Israeli-Arab conflict:
One is the assertion we hear regarding the latest Israel-Hamas war by members of the Western Left, by Muslim supporters of the Palestinians and even by a few individuals on the Right: “Palestinian babies are as precious as Israeli babies.”
Professor Cornel West, a lifelong progressive running for president as a Democrat: “As I have said for the past 50 years, a precious Palestinian child has the same value as a precious Israeli child.”
David Cronin, an editor at Electronic Intifada, a large pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel website: “Palestinian babies are just as precious as my new daughter.”
A second example is to avoid condemning Hamas for the wars they start by instead condemning the “cycle of violence.”

Perhaps if ham-ass keeps being supplied with the boomerang-X rockets they’ll take themselves out. Works for me.
Palestinian babies aren’t the problem until they grow up & are misguided.
Odd isn’t it how the terrorist enablers only worry about the terroirst’s babies, never the Jews.
Simple solution. Stop being terrorists and the Jews will leave you alone
Which goes hand-in-hand with this: If the arab neighbors disarmed today, there would be peace in the region, as far as the eye can see. But if Israel disarmed today, they would cease to exist tomorrow. So Prager is right. Enough w the moral equivalency.
Rather it means LACK or moral constitution AND hatred of Israel
Exactly.
Simple as that. They lay down their arms and their is peace for both them and Israel. Their own prosperity would greatly increase as well. Israel has no interest in attacking them or causing them harm but for their own attacks.
But they do not want peace. They want all Israelis exterminated.
All babies matter. When Muslims love their babies more than they hate Jews, there may be a chance for peace.
