And they were somehow to do this unnoticed in the area with most surveillance in the world. Israel has so serious traitors on board that they need to deal with.
Milling and machine tools from the 1940s and before are hopelessly outdated and inaccurate. When they get CNC, program writers and operators smart enough to use and edit them, I might get a little concerned.
Have you looked at what they do or just made a comment?
Everything has it’s pros and cons. Our centralized govt and manufacturing has a lot of cons. Big govt and big business go hand in hand.
It works when it works. When a civilization declines, who does the rebuilding?
Hitler thought his high tech was the way to go. We won with the above machinery. It was accurate enough. At some point more accuracy doesn’t do you any good. The law of diminishing returns. Most of our consumption is this old technology.
But the point of this thread is they are smart people and have resources in their war and are using what they have very effectively. We need to understand they are manufacturing their weapons from very common items.
If true then Hamas is dumb and shortsighted.
Kinda like slaughtering innocent concert goers and think the IDF will just sit by twittering it thumbs.
At this point the average Joe Palestinian is in the Fox similar to the average German under the Nazi regime, damned if they do and damned if the don’t overthrow the Hamas thugs.

For the larger main water lines, the pressure is much higher, so steel pipe is used, but for the size of pipe you would use for a man-portable rocket the plastic water pipe would work just fine, I think. We are not talking about water lines that need to transfer water long distances in a place like Gaza, so this doesn’t make much sense to me.

Pipe used to make a rocket would need to be strong enough to handle the heat and pressure of a rocket motor. Lead would not work.

In my last job, we supplied rebuild parts for those old machines. The critical part for precision were the bearings. The old milling machines were designed to be rebuilt many times, so the bearings determined the precision. Since the quality of bearings has gotten a lot better, those old machines are much more precise than when they were new. Some custom rifle barrel companies use machines that were sold as surplus after WWI. Those barrels are supremely accurate.
Now if you are talking about NASA level of quality I agree with you, but I don't think that Hamas is building satellites.

guess that Hamas is using water
pipe to manufacture the launching
tubes for the rockets, thereby
allowing for multiple rockets
to be fired at once.
They’ve been smuggling these
rockets into Gaza for years and
have amassed quite a stockpile.
About the only munitions these
monsters can create are IED’s
and suicide vests.
