A New York porch pirate targeted homes in broad daylight under the guise of delivering food as she canvassed residential neighborhoods for her next target, police said.
Juliana Saggaram, 33, of East Elmhurst, Queens was arrested Wednesday after she used her position as a DoorDash driver to freely approach two homes and swipe packages.
Saggaram conducted the scheme twice in 48 hours before she was caught in the act on Sept. 3 in Manhasset, when a 54-year-old victim reported the stolen package.
The alleged thief had stopped at a nearby Chipotle for a DoorDash order to use the food order as cover, police said.
Saggaram was captured on the doorbell camera as she walked down the street with the DoorDash order in hand before approaching the home

Idiot, even I have a spy camera looking out the front window on my driveway and sidewalk, no place for thieves to hide these days.
When I was a near invalid last year for a couple of months, me and my wife used a lot of those delivery services heavily.
Now pretty much never.
She has to pay for that eyebrow job she got. They aren’t cheap. I’ve read that there’s a market for clean stolen goods which can be fenced for cash, no questions asked.
Having said that, Juliana looks like a 9 or a 10. Hot face and body. Maybe she knew what she was doing, figured if she got her pic in the papers someone might notice her and a star or a modeling career would be born. It could still happen.
Well, since they must love islam so much, it’s time to invoke their penalty for stealing: chop chop.
