President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company “Onur Group” Onur Çetinçeviz and Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine Yağmur Ahmet Güldere.
“I am grateful to the Onur Group and its representatives for staying in Ukraine and next to Ukrainians all these days since the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression, for supporting us together with Türkiye and the Turkish people,” the Head of State noted.
The President expressed gratitude to the company for helping the Ukrainian army and transferring equipment to our defenders.
“We have really strong relations with Türkiye. And personally with President Erdoğan. It is also very important that Turkish business is represented in Ukraine and stays in Ukraine. The key thing is not to lose such reliable partners,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The parties discussed ways of further cooperation.
The Head of State thanked the Ambassador of Türkiye, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Ukraine, for his work that contributed to the development of strong relations between the two countries.
The President presented Yağmur Ahmet Güldere and Onur Çetinçeviz with the Orders of Merit II class for their contribution to supporting Ukraine and developing Ukrainian-Turkish relations.

There's only one way to get a ceasefire and that's for Putin to withdraw his forces. He has no shown no willingness to do that. The Ukrainians cannot conjure up peace, that's just simply not a power they have.

Day 588 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.
The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, and attacks both military and civilian targets.
During the day of October 4, there were 45 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 5 missile and 43 air strikes, 30 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.
The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.
VOLYN and POLISSYA axes: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.
SIVERSHCHYNA and SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA AXIS: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues to shell Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 25 settlements, including Klyusy, Turya (Chernihiv oblast), Sorokyne, Prohres, Stepok (Sumy oblast), Starytsya, Tykhe, Mala Vovcha, (Kharkiv oblast).
KUPYANSK AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack in the area north of Zybyne (Kharkiv oblast). The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Podoly (Kharkiv oblast) and Kuzemivka (Luhansk oblast). More than 15 settlements, including Fyholivka, Novomlyns’k, Lyman Pershyi, Syn’kivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire.
LYMAN AXIS: the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks in the area east of Makiyivka (Luhansk oblast) and northwest of Dibrovy (Donetsk oblast). The settlements of Novoselivske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Siversk, Spirne (Donetsk oblast) suffered enemy air strikes. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Makiyivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Siversk, Verkhniokamyanske, Fedorivka, Spirne, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).
BAKHMUT AXIS: the adversary made unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost ground in the vicinities of Hryhorivka and Andriyivka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes near Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Toretsk and Oleksandro-Shultyne (Donetsk oblast). More than 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, Kurdyumivka, New York (Donetsk oblast).
AVDIYIVKA AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks near Avdiyivka and Lastochkyne (Donetsk oblast). The enemy launched an air strike near Avdiyivka. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Keramik, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Karlivka, Nevelske, Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).
MARYINKA AXIS: during the day of October 4, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 8 enemy attacks in the vicinities of Maryinka and 6 enemy attack in the vicinities of Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The adversary launched air strikes near Novomykhailivka and Maryinka (Donetsk oblast). About 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka, Yelyzavetivka (Donetsk oblast) were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.
SHAKHTARSKE AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack in the vicinity of the settlement of Zolota Nyva (Donetsk oblast). The russian occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Zolota Nyva, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). More than 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Maksymivka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
ZAPORIZHZHIA AXIS: the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled enemy attacks near Verbove and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The invaders launched air strikes near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne, (Zaporizhzhia oblast). More than 25 settlements, including Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Robotyne, Stepove, Kamyanske, Plavni (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
KHERSON AXIS: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Kozatske, Mykolaivka and Olhivka (Kherson oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Ponyativka, Mykilske (Kherson oblast) and the city of Kherson.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation on Melitopol axis and offensive (assault) operations on Bakhmut axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.
During the day of October 4, Ukrainian Air Force launched 13 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment of the invaders.
The Ukrainian missile troops hit 1 command post, 3 concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 10 artillery systems and 1 ammunition depot of the russian occupiers.

The US will transfer thousands of seized Iranian weapons and rounds of ammunition to Ukraine, in a move that could help to alleviate some of the critical shortages facing the Ukrainian military as it awaits more money and equipment from the US and its allies, US officials said.
The people willing to lay down their lives for the country's freedom are Ukrainian. It's really incredible to see - and it's dispiriting that so many in the party of Ronald Reagan are willing to sell freedom fighters into literal slavery under the new Evil Empire.
The Russians were in bad shape in the summer of 2022. If the Ukrainians took Crimea, that’ll be the end of Putin. The Ukrainians could have done it but I would guess that they ran out of ammo at that point. Then the winter saved the Russians so they had the time to organize their defenses and to mobilize extra troops to the front.
