Tributes Pour in After Beloved Teacher Suddenly Dies Behind His School Desk

A much-loved religious studies teacher died shortly after he collapsed at his desk.

James Kiernan was at his desk at Shalom College in Bundaberg, in the Australian state of Queensland, when he collapsed.

Colleagues rushed to help the teacher, who had arrived at the college at approximately 7.30am local time on Tuesday.

But despite Mr Kiernan's colleagues performing CPR on him prior to the arrival of the paramedics, the teacher could not be revived.

The college's principal, Dan McMahon, confirmed the death of the father-of-three at 10.50am, by which time Mr Kiernan's wife Peta had arrived to be by his side.

The teacher died from a heart attack, a Queensland Police Service spokesperson confirmed.

In the hours following Mr Kiernan's death, friends and colleagues paid tribute to the father and husband, who died in his 50s.

The principal told local publication Courier Mail: "James loved his Catholic faith and lived it.

"James has been a much-loved member of staff at Shalom since 2021 and would, perhaps, have taught more students here than the vast majority of teachers given that he had a full teaching load of Religious Education."

Friend and colleague Dale O'Connell took to social media to honour the memory of the teacher.

He said: "James Kiernan was one of the most genuine blokes I have ever had the honour to call a mate and colleague. The world has lost one of the good guys."

St Edmund's College, the school at which Mr Kiernan taught between 2008 and 2017, also took to social media to praise the father-of-three and express sympathy to his family.

Upon learning about the tragic news, a former pupil of the teacher honoured his work as they wrote on Facebook: "I was lucky enough to have this amazing teacher from Grade 8 to Grade 10.

"He was such an inspiration to work hard. I'll never forget what he taught me."

Shalom College is now offering counselling services to help students and staff cope with the death of Mr Kiernan.

Some guy dies in Queensland…and its news here?

People die every day. It’s not international news.

50s isn’t too young for a heart attack.

My cardiologist told me that frequently the first indication of heart disease is death.

A close Naval Acadamy friend and roommate of my daughter, class of ‘99, was working the treadmill the other day and and had a heart attack. Luckily there was a medical employee on site who saved her. She has now had an operation with a pacemaker installed. No one mentions the jab, but here is a young woman who went through the physical rigors of the Academy and now is maimed for the rest of her life. Note that Big Pharma makes sure it is always in a win-win, liability-free situation with these cases. I pray that the time will come when these demons swing from the gallows.

I guess dying at one’s desk in front of a classroom full of students is somewhat unusual enough to catch the media’s eye.

What a retarded thing to write.

The whole died suddenly thing is pure fantasy.

I just did a google search for died suddenly in Australia for the past week. How come none of those other sudden deaths are worthy a sport on FRs sudden death wall?

There is zero increase in excess deaths for the younger cohorts in the US. But facts are crazy things with retards. They would rather chase shadows.

And yet, here you are, still being wildly defensive and all in a tither about the press reporting on some poor teacher dropping dead behind his desk down under.

Seeing this story I could have predicted that, giving the circumstances of his location - a heavily vaccinated country like Australia - and his profession - a government worker who was mandated to get vaccinated - that the “die suddenly” denizens would come out and post.

Similarly, as night follows day, those that have been vaccinated and feel a need to defend that action - or are just whistling in the dark - reply to the “die suddenly” posts with the obligatory “people drop dead all the time” posts. It’s really predictable.

For you to claim that the “died suddenly thing is pure fantasy” borders on psychosis and clinical denial. Seriously, you may need psychiatric help. Mortality tables in the insurance industry show clear signs of increased deaths long after COVID amongst young people. I, personally, have had several friends have serious adverse health effects from the shots and one die. But you just go on telling yourself everything is fine.

Google searches are highly skewed. It can be very hard or impossible to find sites they don’t want us to find. They have either been scrubbed or can not be found through searches.
There’s been many good sites that I can no longer find, nor the information they contained. It can be quite frustrating.
Any information that is negative concerning the you know what you can be sure they will try to keep as hidden as possible. It’s a pet subject.
