The unhinged Manhattan college professor who threatened to “chop” a Post reporter copped a wrist-slap plea deal in Bronx court on Monday.
Shellyne Rodriguez, 46, will dodge jail time and won’t even have a criminal record if she makes it through as little as six months in therapy under the terms of her sweetheart deal with Bronx prosecutors.
Rodriguez – who was axed from her Hunter College gig hours after the caught-on-video May 23 assault on reporter Reuven Fenton – pleaded guilty to a count of menacing, a misdemeanor, and to a harassment violation.
Her record will be wiped clean if she completes counseling at the Alternative Wellness Collective of Manhattan and stays out of trouble for up to a year, Judge Dan Quart said in Bronx Criminal Court.

How hard would it be to goad her unhinged ass into doing the same thing again before her diversion is complete and securing a criminal record because of it?
For people contemplating spending the rest of their lives in the this country (the US), please tell me again, how the country is going to survive with a ‘justice’ system operating in this way.
Don’t know the exact law here in Texas, but if you show a gun during an argument, even without touching it, you’re looking at a good 5 years. I assume that threatening and putting a machete to a person’s throat will result in a somewhat stiffer penalty.
If I was that Prof I’d be packing some heat, even if it’s not legal.

While that does buy some time, but did any Republic in the Soviet Union have freedom? Nope, and that’s the point, DC will run things for the red states, whether the red states like it or not, and as the Canadian Truckers learned the hard way, DC (or Ottawa in their case), can bring ANYONE and ANY STATE, to their knees...as they have dozens of options.

Yesterday Kurt Schlichter wrote of the country splitting up. He said before we do that, we need to oppose the DS with all our might. Sadly, the best he could come up with is conservatives winning elections. He didn’t address the fact that the insane progs have taken over the election machinery and processes.
