The only thing about these dumbos is that they don’t realize that stealing modern devices - phones, laptops, whatever - is pointless, because both the seller and the owner have records of them and they can be both shut down and wiped from afar.
Well, nobody ever said these looters had any brains...I mean, their leader calls herself “Meatball.”

Well, the on-scene police did not play around. But the Philadelphia district attorney is a far-left “progressive”. He doesn’t like cash bail, for example.
I’d be surprised if any of the arrested looters get anything close to what they deserve.

"Thieves was left outraged a day after the looting when they discovered Apple had disabled products they stole." About the only thing those iPhones are good for are parts (screens, batteries). Maybe they can con someone into purchasing a bricked phone. I wonder if the GPS still worked on those stolen iPhones.

At least 52 arrests have been made so far, with burglary, theft, and other charges filed against at least 30 people as of Saturday, but the number of suspects seems to be higher. And the 52 arrested? They're probably all back on the street by now... you know 'people gotta eat'... and other assorted liberal stupidities.

Too bad for Apple. Apple is one of the ccompanies that has NOT been hiring Whites. It has been practicing discrimination in defiance of the Constitution. Maybe some top exec will notice something: The people who it refuses to hire are NOT THE ONES STEALING.

GOOD, this city does not play around They have already been released and are back on the streets. Philadelphia is nothing but a commie hellhole. There is no good in Philadelphia.
Looters and shoplifters should be shot. Shoplifting is no different than looting during business hours. Shoot these pieces of chit dead.

What I got out of this article is not that Apple can disable and track the stolen phones, but that they can do the same to your phone any time they want. So you don’t really have control over your phone or what is on it.

Wanna stop this crap? If the city were serious, looters would be SHOT. Until then, the public should stop complaining about looting and arson.
