I find many great videos on YouTube, you have to get past the junk, but there is great information on any topic you want to learn about.
I remember seeing Glen Campbell’s TV show as a kid, but didn’t realize the greatness I was watching.
After a few attempts at playing the guitar, I finally really started learning about twenty years ago.
I am nothing more than a decent rhythm player and don’t really aspire to be anything more than that.
When I listen to Glen Campbell, I realize how blessed my generation was to have such tremendous skill. Glen was almost in a league by himself, but I have to say he’s one of the top 5 or 10 players of my lifetime that I’d care to see in concert.
There are many players with great skill that I appreciate, but their music is not my style and I wouldn’t buy it.
I’d give two sticks of juicy fruit for a studio recording of that same song by that same ensemble.
Campbell was the best guitarist. My other two favorites were Terry Kath and Wes Montgomery. Different genres but magnificent guitarists.

Great rendition of Classical Gas, with the added Campbell flair.

AND great Glen and Roy Clark video there. Lotta guitar picking going on by both. I always liked The Byrds with Roger McGuinn’s 12 string. 12 string can’t get no respect these days. I think because that via electronics it can be emulated on the easier to control (tuning etc) 6 strings
