When I was kid, many, many years ago, we always had lobster on my birthday. With melted butter, lemon juice & a bit of garlic to dip it in.
I was my favorite food.

It has to be 100% fresh - otherwise, NO.
Paid too much too many times to have $$$ lobster at fancy restaurants that was too old to be edible.
I never order it, only when I visit family in New England and we go to one of those great take-out lobster places that cook it fresh (along with corn) and serve it right there.

I’ve had boiled lobster dipped in butter. Several times, in Maine, right on the water, bought from the lobsterman himself and cooked at home. Flavorless. No thanks.
