@60Minutes
60 Minutes discovered the U.S. is financing more than weapons in Ukraine. The government is buying seeds/fertilizer for farmers, paying the salaries of 57,000 first responders and subsidizing small businesses.

One thing it won’t lock down are the free republic threads started by Ukraine propagandists and enabled by moderators.
The fact that there is a small but significant number of freepers who cannot see the truth of all this is disheartening :-/
Pray and prepare my FRiends.
It’s going back to some State Dept, military, and intelligence community people too, I would bet.
Ukraine’s grifting leaders will never negotiate or act in the interest of their own people as long as they have Uncle Sam’s credit card. Gotta stop or every Ukrainian male above age 12 will be dead or maimed and the children sold out to traffickers. GOTTA STOP.
So if they are getting small biz loans? Who’s issuing? “Small banks” who are “microlending”? They are loan sharks. What interest rates are they charging????
This isn’t a proxy war if the artificially animated corpse of what was once Ukraine is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the US.
Really? CBS News has “discovered” information which has been widely publicized as being part of the aid packages for Ukraine and also has been publicly available information for quite some time? https://www.crfb.org/blogs/congress-approved-113-billion-aid-ukraine-2022
“In addition to the military portion of Ukraine aid, Congress has also approved $46 billion of non-military support. More than half of that amount – nearly $27 billion – has come in the form of economic support funds. This money is used for various purposes including funding the Ukrainian government, repairing and securing Ukraine’s energy grid, providing food security, and supporting the economy through infrastructure repair and other means. Another $7.9 billion has been provided for international disaster assistance; $6.6 billion to support and relocate refugees; $1.5 billion to support allies in Europe, Eurasia, and Central Asia; and more than $3.1 billion for other nondefense-related purposes.”
So this comes as absolutely no surprise to those that are informed. It’s a legitimate policy debate as to whether or not the US should be involved and even greater as to what extent, if so. But this yet another line of ridiculous threads where have the usual suspects mocking people for *not* being ignorant. You form your opinions based on nothing - just narratives you and your “sources” make up out of thin air - amazingly with apparently zero embarrassment or shame. Has anyone even claimed the aid was entirely just military? War has many fronts - economic is a major part of any war for survival of a given side. Why do you think sanctions were imposed on Russia? How can you all not know something so basic?
Of course you’re right.
And their women are all being freed up to go work in the global sex industry. Prostitutes are one of Ukraine’s biggest export.
They want a Ukraine without Ukrainians.
It is ridiculous and ghastly all at once. And Lindsey Graham, a key architect of this tragedy is one of my Senators, and the other plays along with the Neocon team. At least Marina Abramovic has no SC ties, even though we’ll probably help pay her salary as Ukraine’s new ambassador at large.
Yep, I wouldn’t be surprised if some leftist Congresscritters’ campaign coffers are benefiting handsomely from all of this.
Any “news” you hear or see in the media today was discussed two years ago on Bannon’s Warroom.
This is blackmail against people who have the authority to pay it with OUR tax money.
Brandon is screwing up the nation in more ways than just 100.
RE: When does it get to point where citizens withhold taxes?
Joan Baez although not at all to my political liking, was a sincere fighter against government tyranny. Age 82 today.
She went to a lot of trouble to oppose the IRS for the portion of her income taxes which went to the Vietnam War which she thought was a conspiracy by McNamara, Johnson and others to let thousands of American soldiers die or lose limbs and they would someday withdraw and it would amount to nothing years later. She spent a fortune on lawyers and court fees and they ended up with her appeals denied. She ended up paying in money taken out of her accounts and it was more with penalties than if she had just gone along like a sheep.
I’m not condoning not having the backs of our fighting men. Just saying what happens if we withhold the tax money.
Nonetheless it may have to be done.
We8ll, they missed a few things, one being they are paying pensions also.
Yup, them too. One big, happy pig trough in DC.
When has a population of fat social media/sports zombies ever done anything?
Total for American farmers, first responders, and small businesses: $0
I also read somewhere, that we should be relieved to know, that we are paying for the pensions of Ukrainian government officials as well. 🙄
60 Minutes speak for the CIA - what’s the real agenda here?
