That’s been assumed in order to make the conspiracy theory work, but nobody’s confirmed or proven it.
It is scary to think the Deep State is not above political assassination, but I think Rich was such a threat he was terminated. Trump poses a similar threat to the Deep State and if Trump appears to be likely winning the election despite all the phony legal issues, I would not be surprised if he were to be assassinated. Of course the Cartel running the country will blame some Ultra MAGA extremists and use that narrative to further crack down on anyone who does not support them.
According to Ron Howard’s Netflix special, this has all been solved and those of us who have been interested in finding the truth are right-wing smear merchants.
