It is scary to think the Deep State is not above political assassination, but I think Rich was such a threat he was terminated. Trump poses a similar threat to the Deep State and if Trump appears to be likely winning the election despite all the phony legal issues, I would not be surprised if he were to be assassinated. Of course the Cartel running the country will blame some Ultra MAGA extremists and use that narrative to further crack down on anyone who does not support them.
Tucker Carlson has already made the suggestion. He said they have tried all the other things and hey have failed or are failing and assassination is the next logical step.
