Good for Messi.
What is soccer?
The most popular sport in the world. Perhaps you have heard of it? Maybe not.
You mean that boring game where if you touch someone, it is some sort of card-thing. Then, they trot around for 90 minutes and bounce a ball around, ending in a 0-0 tie. Where I grew up, soccer was for the F’s. Faygs, flakes, and foreigners. Don’t try to convince me that it is the sport of kings when it is the sport of the communist world.
He is a billion dollar man right now. The whole league can’t afford for him to get hurt.
Just saw where Julian Edelman said he got hurt on same turf as rogers
It appears the fans were quite vocal during the game. It is possible that messi has the clout to get this changed. If he doesn’t play in any game with fake turf it could gain momentum. NFL using climate change as an excuse for the turf.
Aaron Rodgers got hurt at the right time. All Messi has to do is to point to his injury to refuse to play on the turf.
MLS?
Was that a misprint?
Sounds like a disease.
The communist world? How about just the world? Soccer is king in virtually all of Europe, South America, Africa, the Middle East, Central America, and Asia. The sport has roughly 3.5 billion fans worldwide and 250 million players across 200 countries around the world. So, ignore and make fun of things you don’t like, but it ain’t going anywhere. BTY, the term faygs was popular a while ago, like 30 years, but some folks might think its offensive. Using terms like that will weaken your argument because it shows emotion, not logic. Facts matter. You don’t like soccer. Got it.
“MLS? Was that a misprint? Sounds like a disease.”
That’s ALS. MLS is worse, as there’s not even any treatment, much less a cure.
“occer is king in virtually all of Europe, South America, Africa, the Middle East, Central America, and Asia.”
All sh*tholes, too! NO thanks. Soccer is for queers.
“Aaron Rodgers got hurt at the right time. All Messi has to do is to point to his injury to refuse to play on the turf.”
What are the alternatives for teams that play in northern climates where grass wont grow in the winter or in enclosed stadiums where light is limited?
I try it once a year. It bores me to tears. Let me know when there is Monday Night Soccer.
Pretty simple for Messi. He won't be playing.
In the meantime, there are some stadiums that should be switched to grass right now. Charlotte is one of them.
Not sure if the NFL is concerned about the field surfaces. They are too busy supporting woke politics, apparently these field are just fine if you gently kneel down on them for the National Anthem.
No excuse for outdoor stadiums not to use real grass.
That stuff can be a real Messi.
