Ping!..................
When the lights do ninety degree turns and start moving in circles both individually and then together and then go up and down and then up again it is all natural....
Lol.
This is a pretty well known phenomenon.
...and move faster than an SR-71.................
“The sun in your eyes made some of the lies worth believing.”
Awesome song. The “engineering” is unparalleled.
Alan Parsons was engineer on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon..................
Piezo electric effect. Just like the lighters that snap/click - I think these bend a quartz crystal or something like that. Lots of rock moving in the crust. That’s one conjecture.
Not a good thing to see, but maybe someday an alert system could be tied to cell phone or sirens to warn get out of buildings? Another sign is animals and birds acting strangely.
Kinda looks like a string of aircraft lined up for landing to me...is there an airbase around that area?
Ball lightning.
Swamp gas.
I’ve heard of this before other earthquakes in the past.
I’ve heard of the phenomenon before. IIRC it has something to do with friction between shifting plates building up and discharging static electricity.
Chinese balloons causing earthquake?
(Like this conspiracy theory?)
Yep - piezo electric effect with quartz.
How does the piezo effect end up at stable positions in the sky with distinctive colors for each light? I’m not saying the piezo effect isn’t involved, but to think you’re explaining what’s happening by throwing out that term is presumptuous. There’s a lot we don’t know. In this case, I would expect a straightforward piezo effect to look more like a sheet or a curtain, similar to a shimmering aurora as opposed to LEDs hung in the sky.

Well, plasmas are natural, and if you’ve never seen the way plasmas can be induced to move in a lab setting simply by manipulating magnetic fields, you might be very surprised.
Those are Elon’s balls. Just about every night after sundown.
