Independent, meaning not representing a specific institution but rather representing one's own self and opinions.
"Religious Institutions" as an adjective-bounded phrase related to "independent" meaning not religious, after all. Else "religious" would refer to a specific religion, and therefore not be "independent." Institutions is plural, much like "they/them" pronouns are plural.
"Professional" means taking money -- oddly for being "independent" yet somehow related to "religious institutions."
Words can be most interesting, and how they are wielded sometimes says much. Close reading of things....
Many phrases mean something other than a cursory reading would suggest, such as the play and film titled "Steel Magnolias" which is not about a blossom from a tree being made out of metal.
Similarly "Build back better" means quite other than one is supposed to take from the slogan. Or Biden's "To unite the country."

All of the accusations about decadence or other supposed behavioral characteristics of Ukrainians made by the pro Russian posters align exactly with Russian MOD propaganda talking points.
Notice how those same posters never criticize any aspect of Russian society.
Use “abilities” here. Try to avoid mixing plurals and singulars on the same subject, especially when you are criticizing the writing abilities of others.
Also, you shouldn’t assume that people who oppose excessive propaganda and spam pollution are “pro-Putin.” There’s no rational basis to support that.
Now, if you see someone here posting support for Putin, that gives your accusation the required legitimacy.
