Yes. The man-child Carmelo Anthony’s view on the state of the earth should be worth every penny paid for those free tickets.
Boy I hope not. Wonder what he thought when his brother ran over him trying to elude the police?
Really? Its timing is about then? Yikes.
I guess I had never heard of that person before.
Bill Nye and Gayle King. Hooboy how exciting. Not.
“Really? Its timing is about then? Yikes.”
Actually not, but close - about 5 or 6 days prior. I still bust up about Burning Man!
Hadn’t heard of Carmelo Anthony? You didn’t miss anything. He’s a 6’7” spoiled brat recently retired NBA player.
There have been a few NBA players with something to say worth hearing; but Carmelo isn’t one of them.
Oh....
I wonder whether the looters will have any problems with this system.
I imagine the rampant theft in retail will pretty much necessitate the installation of such systems. Nearly everywhere.
Then, every customer that enters the store, or at least by party, will have a debit / credit card (some by phone app) tied to their purchases.
Look at the cart scanning in Cerritos, California. (in the group of lots of pictures - woman pushing a cart)
There was a bicycle store, YEARS AGO, that caught a shoplifter. He tried to get out the door and it scanned the item - THEN he saw his bill as he was about to use his thumbprint to authorize payment. He went back in and dumped the extra item in a dressing room.
They found the item and the rejected transaction. Knew who he was by the payment method.
Oh good, on the verge of World War III
Look for the Godless Globalists to be pushing “Global Citizen” more than ever
