A judge sentenced That '70s Show star Danny Masterson to 30 years to life in prison Thursday for the rapes of two women two decades ago.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo handed down the sentence to Masterson, 47, after hearing statements from the women about the trauma they experienced and the suffering caused by the disturbing memories in the years since.
The actor, who has been in custody since May, sat in court wearing a suit. He watched the women without visible reaction as they spoke.
"When you raped me, you stole from me," said one woman who Masterson was convicted of raping in 2003. "That's what rape is, a theft of the spirit.
"You are pathetic, disturbed and completely violent," she said. "The world is better off with you in prison."
The other woman Masterson was found guilty of raping said he "has not shown an ounce of remorse for the pain he caused." She told the judge, "I knew he belonged behind bars for the safety of all the women he came into contact with. I am so sorry, and I'm so upset. I wish I'd reported him sooner to the police."

I wonder if he really did it. So far I haven't heard of the evidence proving he did it, and in this modern legal climate, I consider it typical for courts to get things absolutely wrong.

Justice delayed is justice denied, used to mean like the thing that is happening to J6 defendants. When you are convicted of rape from 20 years ago, this is BS. There is a reason for statute of limitations. The convincing of me if on the jury would require certainty of “without a doubt” true.
He must be a Republican Trump supporter.
I don’t like any of these cases that were never reported when they happened and are only now coming to light 20 years later.

He always gave me a skeezy vibe. Rapists belong in prison, particularly ones that are actors playing a popular character. I’m glad he’s being sent away for a long time.

He was tried before on three rape charges and the jury unable to reach a verdict. He was convicted of two of them at this second trial.
Don’t know the details here, but usually it’s not rape until it’s confirmed that there’s money to be made.

When they let him out of his cage in 2053, he could do That ‘20s Show.
Or they could pull a “Bewitched” and just hire another actor to play him and pretend nothing changed. They could even hire his brother, the one that was on “Malcolm In the Middle”.
Pretty much everyone involved is a Scientologist. There is no real proof he did anything. She said, he said. he was in a years-long relationship with one accuser
