I served in the military and raised my boy so that he served in the military. That’s not smug. That’s taking the security of this country personally.
But, hey, you prefer a guy who got himself classified as 4F and then raised his two adult boys to not serve in the military; and, you’re on a thread predicated on Trump-supporters letting the Democrats win if their man isn’t the Republican nominee.

Yep, both parties disintegrated, there were the Free Soil Party, anti-Nebraska Democrats, the American Party, the northern Democrats (Douglas), southern Democrats (Yancey and the rest), northern Whigs (Seward, Lincoln), southern Whigs (Bell, Crittenden, Stephens). Then the 4 way race of 1860.

Ron DeSantis could have looked so much better and more competent, if only he’d positioned as Trump’s VP, this time. The fact he ran in to take money to run against Trump just looks bad. I’ll agree Trump said very unfair things about Ron, but Ron did plenty on his own.
I keep saying this over and over again and I wonder if Ron’s advisors had an evil intent, when they pressured him to enter the race...and MORE IMPORTANTLY HAVE PRESIDENT TRUM VIEW HIM AS A TRAITOR.
What could have been,...IF Ron had only waited. SAD.
