Singer Gary Wright died at 80 years old on Monday after years of health issues, according to his family.

Wright's son, Justin Wright, told TMZ that the musician died Monday morning at his home in Palos Verdes Estates, California, with his family and loved ones by his side.

The singer-songwriter was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease more than five years ago and, shortly after that diagnosis, also learned he had Lewy body dementia. Wright's Parkinson's worsened over the past year and ultimately prevented him from speaking or moving around on his own, according to his son.

Again...I was not going to type 500 names AND my original post referenced only groups that I saw live.

Again...you're a leftwing idiot lacking an intellect to grasp basic English.

Now slither back to Meeheeco...

I was thinking Gary and that guy showed up at the Pearly Gates and snuck in while Buffet’s door was closing.

I saw Gary Wright’s band in 74 or 75. It was the third concert I ever went to after Neil Young and Crazy Horse, then Alvin Lee and Ten Years After in the old Orlando Sports Arena, which was basically a tin warehouse. Interestingly, Wright’s band had NO guitars. Only keyboards and drums. Sounded fantastic as I recall.

LOL...still digging your hole deeper & deeper and showing all of us your intellect is going lower & lower.

Come back to me when you have a little more experience around here. I understand some people are slower learners and lack reading comprehension skills.

During the 70’s my age span was 3-13.
For a kid growing up you could not ask for better.
The problems began while entering the 80’s at the age of 13...

I didn’t know until recently that Wright played the keyboards on Harry Nilsson’s rendition of “Without You”.

RIP.

I stopped by the AMC dealer and looked at a green split-bumper Z-28 - 4-speed

For some reason I want to say it was a 1972 - but it’s been a long time

Anyways, the price was around $2500 - this was a loooooooong time ago - the dealer is long gone - it’s a U-Haul place nowadays
