As COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths continue to rise, facilities that care for the elderly are being hit especially hard.
In the last week, one out of every four nursing homes or assisted living facilities in New Jersey has reported a COVID outbreak, according to official state data. Among the 615 nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the state, there are currently 158 active outbreaks affecting 534 employees and more than 1,300 residents.

However, New Jersey is far from the only state inflicted with rising COVID counts. Across the United States, COVID-related hospitalizations have risen week over week since mid-July. Last week, hospitalizations rose by 19%, while deaths increased by nearly 18%.

Mask mandates have also started to reemerge at some schools, hospitals and businesses across the U.S. as well.
Despite this, neither health experts nor government officials have signaled that widespread mandates will make a return.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said that mask requirements are not expected to be needed again, at least not any time soon. Similarly, the Transportation Security Administration recently shot down rumors that they had briefed their managers in preparation of reinstating masking policies; a spokesperson for the administration denied the claims to the Associated Press.
Although it does not appear as though widespread COVID mandates will be making a return any time soon, health experts still recommend that members of vulnerable populations, such as the elderly and immunocompromised, and those who care for them practice caution during this time. Many have suggested that this group mask up in public places and also consider getting the updated COVID boosters when they become available later in the fall.

My experience also. I’ve been in the hospital a couple of times and when asked about being vaccinated I say “no,” and if I want one I say “NO!”
I’ve also refused blood transfusion products because they could not assure me that the donor was not vaccinated. Actually, I got no kickback from anyone with whom I interacted. In fact, there were more than just an isolated doctor or nurse, etc. who agreed with me (privately, out of earshot of TPTB).
The bottom line is that you cannot trust this government, CDC, NIH, or any agency/entity dependent on government money to tell you the truth, especially about Covid or any of its many election-time variations.
Must be an overfake vaxxed filthy environment to have such a thing happen. Do people wash their hands there?

Time to panic. Time to find more words to instill fear. Time to keep people home on election days.
Yet the media remained silent on excess deaths in younger populations following vaccine rollout.
Only 615 nursing homes and care facilities in the whole state of NJ? That doesn’t make sense.
Most of the elderly are vaccinated, don’t ya think? If it’s so great, why are they getting sick? If they don’t have a vaccine that’s working, why push it?
makes me all warm and fuzzy...
Paxlovid is an antiviral therapy that consists of two separate medications packaged together. When you take your three-pill dose, two of those pills will be nirmatrelvir, which inhibits a key enzyme that the COVID virus requires in order to make functional virus particles. After nirmatrelvir treatment, the COVID virus that is released from the cells is no longer able to enter uninfected cells in the body, which, in turn, stops the infection. The other is ritonavir, a drug that was once used to treat HIV/AIDS but is now used to boost levels of antiviral medicines.
Covid prevention: Take daily dose of 5,000 mg of Vitamin D, 50 mg of Zinc, and drink plenty of fluids.
According to the figures here, there are only 130 in Oregon. NJ has 3x the population.
However, search by each of the terminology labels and see what comes up:
Adult Foster Home (AFH)
Assisted Living Facility (ALF)
Nursing Facility (NF) (aka ‘nursing home’)
Residential Care Facility (RCF)
I show over 2000 here for all types.
The State of New Jersey Health Department's COVID dashboard doesn't show anything alarming. For example, the county with the highest number of hospitalizations in the past two weeks reports having 12 people in the entire county hospitalized with COVID.
That county, Middlesex, has a population of 860,000 people and includes about a dozen hospitals including those at Rutgers.
👍
That's surprising. Where is that happening?

Coinkydink...? 🤔
Yeah, I’m not recommending it but it is approved, available, and reasonably effective. Ivermectin works well but remains somewhat of a bootleg treatment.
Hadn’t seen that. Interesting (and curious).
