I was on a grand jury, some time back, and a case came up in which a young woman told the cop that pulled her over that she didn’t want to talk to him, and she drove home, obeying all of the traffic rules. He arrested her on a felony charge of evading. I’m not sure what came of it. Probably plead to a lesser charge, but I hope she learned something.
Right or wrong, cops can kill you. I keep this in mind.
Thank you.
AI said that :)
Did the cops find stolen alcohol in the car?
They had no problem providing information that she was parked in a handicap spot or didn’t have a license plate.
Since the Kroger employee pointed her out as a thief, it would be nice to know if she was indeed a thief.
As a side note, the Kroger in my town, doesn’t even let their employees confront thieves, they simple send all footage directly to the PD and file a report on stolen items.
I consider that imprecise.
Donating blood is voluntary.
Adherence to the law is compulsory. It’s not up to you whether you do it, you’ll be forced to do it.
The deceased’s incredulity at the imminent consequences of her actions are a symptom of the breakdown we’re witnessing in society.
Yes, if a R was POTUS, the entire country would be convulsing.
It’s always their agenda
Democrats I mean
I'd like to think that if they didn't find stolen alcohol, that would be an integral part of the story because then they could toss in the accusation of racial profiling.
As I posted above, I've read several articles on this and I can't find out either way.
Just why do they think the rules don’t apply to them and tempt fate by saying things like whatchu gonna do shoot me? I didn’t watch the video I don’t know if it was a bad shoot or not it’s a shame a young mother lost her life but sadly she had a hand in the way things turned out. They know what can happen when you go up against police yet some do it anyway.
Truth
True.
The other thing is the bayonet. One good thrust and the perp knows you're not playing around.
I dunno. People can’t be forced to not drink and drive. They can’t be forced not to shoplift. Short of having a cop watching everyone, all the time, I’d say that adherence to the law is largely voluntary.
I can already tell you the outcome of this situation and it won't be "justice served."
It will be.. "How BIG was the Financial settlement... and how much of Franklin County Ohio was burned down before things settled down!
So what? Maybe he wasn’t “trained” to do that, but that is where he ended up.
That’s basically the simplest & smartest advice ever.
Heaven forbid he stepped out of the way. Can I block a car from moving, point my gun at someone then kill them if the pull forward. I am tired of the police viewing their safety at the expense of others lives. She was not accused of a violent crime. Officers did not observer her threatening people’s lives but cops show up, they threaten death to everyone around. Their safety and convenience are important enough for others to forfeit their lives.
Saw a retired firefighter arrested for not complying after he saved a life but the cops arrested him for interfering with their investigation by keeping a person alive. The fireman stated this is the reason the cops have lost the support of over 90% of the population. They are not judge and executioners. Yet they continue to behave in hostile acts, doing great bodily damage in their body slams of cuffed people …. I am allowed to defend myself from criminals. Even criminals trying to kill me, harm me, assault me but if it’s a cop, I would get killed and the judiciary will protect them. Swat teams are way overused, playing military when no one is allowed to defend themselves isn’t real world.
One day is coming when a bystander watching the brutality will pop off and cream them. They are that bold they don’t think people will dish out what they are serving.
When it starts the boys in blue (who have their own version of the USA flag) will be on the receiving end of the pain they keep serving. Then the boys will show their yellow stripe and will hide. They don’t need their own flag in black and white with the only color being a blue stripe. They continue to advertise they are not part of the community. The think they rule it.
This case may be open and shut but so many are not. Watched a video of them tazer a man to death, saw another one where they beat a man to death. Yelling that he quit resisting while his hands were cuffed behind his back, shoot a guy for swallowing something (assumed to be drugs) when did the response to that weren’t death. Watched them gun Dow a crying man for not crawling satisfied by their commands. Over and over they use death as a compliance tool to commands.
I know most on FR are law and order types. I’m ok with that but cops using death for compliance is not acceptable.
Anyone else looking at the police as a greater danger to life the last 15-10 years besides me?
He didn't end up there, he put himself in front of a criminal suspect who could have easily slammed the accelerator to the floor and ran him over. I know of cases where if that cop walked in front of wrong suspect vehicle, they'd immediately run him over, stopped and backed over him if the could.
