Ford is retiring three internal combustion engine models – the Escape, Edge and Transit Connect – to make room for new electric vehicles.
Legacy automobile companies that have been producing internal combustion engine vehicles for decades have been addicted to their gas-powered models as electric vehicles began to make their mark over the past dozen or so years. Those companies have slowly begun to make commitments to transition to all-electric, but some have been changing at a snail's pace.

Is there any car company saying no to this crap? I’m so sick of hearing about electric cars. I’m more disgusted about the federal government spending money to add electric charging stations across the country. Did the federal government do this for gas stations? No. It was done through expansion over decades and the gas station owners paid for them. What crap!

They'll lose billions in the next 12 years. EVs are only affordable for the Liberal Elite and most of them have already bought their EVs (mostly Teslas).
Right now that's 80% of us not buying an EV.
The battery is expensive. The technology is not going to make it cheaper compared to ICE vehicle, at least not by 2035.
New EV’s that almost no one is buying.
I’m tellin’ ya, in 20 years we will look like Cuba with hardly any new cars on the road. Most will be older cars kept alive because no one wants the EV crap.
In 50 years when (hopefully) battery technology advances to the point it’s cheap and can charge in under 5 minute, then we will see a transition to EV’s. Today’s EV’s are throwaway cars. Once the batteries wear out, the car isn’t worth enough to maybe find a set of replacement batteries.
Today’s EV’s are the Bic lighters of cars.
Don’t be. Toyota is supposedly getting rid of it’s six cylinder in a lot of cars and SUV’s as an option, replacing it with a four cylinder turbo. What could go wrong?

I have seen some electric and even hybrid cars lose value much faster than models with gas engines.
Less resale value is a major problem for manufacturers and dealers because it causes owners to keep cars longer.
Here are a couple of price examples:
Anywhere around $13,000-$20,000 for Models S
At least $14,000 for a Model X premium SUV
At least $13,000 for a Model 3 entry-level sedan
Ford is obviously betting on the Democrats winning in ‘24 & then forcing consumers to buy these electrical junkers while forcing gas powered vehicles off the roads through extreme gas prices.
If Trump wins in ‘24, Ford will go bankrupt & then beg the Republicans for a bailout, which they will likely grant. Ford stockholders will lose big, the workers will lose big, but Ford will survive, as will most of Ford’s high paid executive staff.
